Temperature and Saturation

Hi, I'm trying to get the a players world temperature and the saturation level of clothing.

Code

player.getTemperature()

works great to get a players temperature.

I would also like to get the environment temperature of the current player as well as the saturation level of their clothing.

Stuff like:

Code

Clothes c = player.getClothes();
int saturation = c.getSaturation();




and maybe;




Environment e = player.getEnviroment();
int enviro_temp = e.getTemperature();

Display More

would be great! (or something to the same effect)

Being able to get the current environment temperature for the player sounds like a good idea, I will put that on our list
What do you mean exactly with "saturation"?

Saturation = how wet someone's clothes are.

Oh, I see Well, actually clothes don't have a "saturation value" at the moment. More precisely, the player has such a value instead (although it's not accessible through the API atm). For example, if the player is soaking wet, but takes off his clothes and gives them to another player, he won't be affected by this.

I'm not sure if this changes in the future... but we can give at least access to the player saturation / wetness value through the API

Oh, sorry about that, unfortunately the getWetness() and setWetness() methods were not available in the last API release. There will be a new hotfix available tomorrow (including an update for the API) which will introduce these missing methods

A World.getTemperature() function is now available (as well as Player.getWetness() / Player.setWetness())
