I think it would be more encouraging to at least get back some materials, if not all the blocks, when deconstructing/removing blocks during building. After all, we do build with recycled and reused materials.

I second that....I wanted to use logs for posts...if I could stack logs like blocks that would work...or blocks that have bark on them.

OK so I saw that woodblocks can be broken faster with a pickaxe.
Just figured to use the axe for wood, pickaxe for stone etc. I am really enjoying the game even though only been playing 30 minutes!! -
Probably someone has already mentioned this, but the time to break blocks after they're put down is too long! This discourages creativity or trying out options IMO.
