trying to make a lumber yard and would be nice if i could place a log on the workhorse

I've suggested being able to have the logs instead of chopping them down for Wood myself. Log cabins, stockade fences, bridges (when we get water). Right now we don't have any long items for building.
Personally, I have no use for a "lumber yard" or need to "place a log on the workhorse", but to each his own.

well i am working on a lumber yard while everyone else is chopping the trees down around them and not replacing it so eventually there going to need wood.

Would be great to use logs in building for sure! Not sure about actually processing logs on a saw etc..

I second that....I wanted to use logs for posts...if I could stack logs like blocks that would work...or blocks that have bark on them.

+1 to this. The first thing I tried to do in game after I chopped down a tree was to place a log in the world. It was frustrating that such a simple thing wasn't in BEFORE any more advanced blocks and such got added.

Would be really great, but I guess it should take some time, since other things appear more important to me.
