if you look at lego worlds they have in my opinion a good mapsystem

is this a mod or is it in command
or do this people change the materials manualy

I agree that he should keep his promise of good communication towards the community. But if you want to complain that the game isn't being updated etc. then you obviously didn't read the big note saying Early Acces Game.

for light in caves press L
to frind your way back don't need compass press F3 and you will see your coordinates
on the first line
write them down the one's of your home so you can always find it back

look at your coordinates press F3

2nd question the aluminium is more freqently now but is it still at ground level or does it go deeper now

You can't find gravel yet. It will be introduced with the biome update in the future Currently you can only spawn gravel by typing "item ore 64 4" into console.

i found some gravel in caves (very big ones) just above hell around -700 /-750 its dark grey with little dods
just found it in singleplayer in multi not yet
but did not test wath you can do with it

and it wasn't to hard to see
so it is very rare indeed
i think silver is harder to see but more common
so about color of alu no update needed
