Thanks! Any idea when/if it will be released? I need area protection, but I really don't want to mess with LUA scripting if it is going away.

The API was released but isn't there a replacement for the protection script coming or is a plugin that someone else will have to make? I thought i read in another thread that there was there would be a way to protect areas built into the API.

This is an old thread but are there any updates?
Nov 2015 this announcement was made.
July 2016 Red said it was close and something should be coming out soon.

It looks like it can't create the folder to create and store the world. Check to make sure that user owns the directory and has permission to +RW .

It would feel unreal unless armor is added to the game first. You don't fight a tiger in undies and a sword.

Restart steam to get the latest update that fixes that.

As a test I updated my personal server again and restarted it. The natural ground is still white or missing. The blocks and items I put down are visible.

I'm on windows and it worked fine before you said there was a hotfix just above my post. When I saw your post I was in game then and logged out and restarted steam to get the update.

Others are seeing the same things on the server I am on. Serenity. They are discussing it in the chat.

While i'm bugging you about this. Game you fix the problem I am having that I sent you a PM about?

I tried that . I even looked in my recycle bin to make sure I really deleted it from the game folder.

I tried my personal server that a friend and me play on, the ground is gone on that also. Digging a hole didn't help. The ground is still gone.

Tried that just now. It didn't work. The ground is missing and/or white. It appears to only be the natural groud that is gone. Any blocks that I have laid down are there and I can see them.

I restarted steam and got the update, but now the entire ground is white.

Is there a way to change your player name? When I bought the game I didn't read the notice carefully enough and didn't realize it would be my characters name. Its a dumb name and I want to change it.

1) put new block overtop of it
2) dynamite

Suggestion - Create seperate forums for server/user plugins

In the plugins section, seperate the threads into two topics. One topic for servers and another for clients to use.

I'm not sure what I did but it is working now. The last thing I did was set the player group again. I had done that several times and it never changed anything before.
