correction I do not know what changed while I was asleep but when I wok up this morning my server was not showing in the steam main list and in the game main list. I switched the setting to -1 and they all came back.
to remind you I am on GTX
also my IP address in steam is wrong again. but it is correct in the game lists.
also experiencing lag issues but not Shure what is causing them.

I know that the numbers for the plants range from 1-501 but is there a list of the plants and there respective numbers?

didn't have to change anything this update. showing in all lists. the setting is left blank and untouched for GTX.
Usually you don't have to touch the server_ip field (unless you run it on your own server), it's set by the hoster (although most hosters overwrite this setting anyway when starting the server). Setting the server_query_ip is just a temporary workaround until we implemented all necessary changes with the hosters, but for the time being, -1 seems to be working for Nitrado, and leaving the field blank apparently works for GTX.

This is just getting too confusing...
I set my GTX server to an IP set for server_ip and server_query_ip set to Blank
Server shows in both Steam and Game lists, but the IP is incorrect in the Steam list.
I think, when I had the IP set in server_ip and server_query_ip set to -1, then it showed in all lists and IP correct...
in server.properties it looks like this exactly
server_query_ip=
blank as no entry.
server ip remains the same.
new update.
A small server update was released. Maybe it's necessary to tweak the server_query setting again (only if your server does not show up in the list!). Here is an explanation what the server_query_ip setting does:
server_query_ip set to -1 Query server binds to all addresses server_query_ip set to 0 Query server uses server_ip setting server_query_ip not blank Provided query ip is used server_query_ip blank and server_ip blank Query server binds to all addresses all other cases Query server binds to public server ip
on GTX leave entry blank to show in all lists. all others will show in some but not show in all lists
do we have to have the numbers befor each line for the line numbers?
now we know how to reserve and block names but how do we bann a player?
what is the file name and where is it located and how do we configure it manualy?
or what is the command to view the bann list from inside the game?
also may we have your uid red51? so we may reserve your name on our servers for you.
I updated and the server came back in the favorites list. it did not show in the main list in game or steam. I tried to place the ip address as directed and it did not work. I replaced the ip address by -1 and everything came back online and all is working in the lists now. Thank you very much!!!
server is not showing in either server list this morning and was fine last night when I went to sleep. Having to connect by ip address again.
I can't add it to my favorite server list ingame cause it doesn't show and it will not add by steam server favorite list by ip eather.
It appears that you can't add servers from the ingame server list to your ingame Favorites. If you do it in the Steam server list/favorites, then it shows in the ingame Favorites list.

ok did you add the object protection after you set the objects in question. If so you need to pick them up and set them back down and they will be locked. same for doors and crafting tables. They will show as unprotected until you reset them. It is how the data base is built and the previous objects are unprotected until you do this. As far as the lua areaprotection it is also covering your stuff but the chests have a vulnerability that can be exploited to steel the contence so the object protection closes that problem. you are double protected and need to follow both plugin's instructions. I myself run both plugins on my rented server and have no ill affect. you may need someone to come on your server and show you the in's and outs.
chests are protected when you set them down. All you have to do is unprotect them or add the players you want or just leave them locked so only you or an admin can access them. You can also unprotect them so other people may pick them up if you wish. You also need to allow access on your claim for other's to be able to access the chests. The red error is something that needs to be looked at though unless you haven't the latest version that we just debugged a few moments ago.
This keeps giving me an error. I am in a protected area in my server. It will not lock objects just gives me list of red errors.
I guess I will wait till you get it with less bugs.. I like the idea
weard I didn't do anything I swear. I just loged in and out.
Still having problems with my server showing in the server list. sometimes it is there and others it is not. if I change any of the settings on the server list page or the favorites page I loose half the servers in the list and have to restart the client to get them back. and restarting doesn't always get all the servers back.
