Also patchnotes gibt's hier im forum ganz oben und auf der Shopseite von RW auf steam.
Einfach n bisschen durchscrollen. Red hatte gesagt es können standalone und steam user zusammen spielen. Von daher sollte das irgendwie gehen -
Such mal die letzten Patch notes durch. Da wurde p2p eingeführt und erklärt.
Ich kanns grad nicht testen aber normal muss der Ersteller das Spiel "für Freunde öffnen". Dann kann der andere mit der ip beitreten.

Got it. But maybe that's a bit much asked for a game. Though would be interesting.
But what I'd like to see more is a visible HUD or similar for the current selected and aimed angle, radius, positioning detail, etc.
That would make life so much easier

Depends on if you are a set as admin on the server config. Server has to get rebooted after change

looks good. but before you place them all over your map, just so you now - once trains are implemented you can´t use these rails. you will need to craft new ones for the trains to run on

Außerdem gibt's rw ja auch als Stand alone. Sind zwar nur wenige aber dennoch darf man die nicht benachteiligen

Red51 hatte bereits mehrfach geschrieben, dass das Spiel am Ende wohl je ein Drittel Bauen, Survival und Abenteuer (ich tippe auf Quests, Erkundung, etc.) sein wird.
Es ist aktuell definitiv das beste Bau-spiel auf dem Markt. Da kann RW niemand das Wasser reichen. Allerdings fände ich ein wenig mehr Survival, bzw. Adventure nicht schlecht.
Aber das Beste ist ja, dass Red an alle denkt und fast alles optional sein wird. Nicht nur die Welt ist also "Sandbox", sondern das Spiel selbst ebenfalls.

Also you can set the availability for ores to "high" before you start a game. that might help as well.

That's really unlucky. Best thing would be to try on different spots in different places.
At some point i was really broke of iron. But the more i excavated the more i found until the point where i really don't know where to put it.
Just have patience and keep searching

Im not sure how the 3D marker for group members is supposed to work but i doubt it should start with a red circle on the screen (not on the player) that at some point remains in one spot and later gets children. i tried it for a few min and in the end i had 6 red circles scattered across the screen.
actually i hoped that marker would show the position of team members on the map

My NPC was blackened

let me guess.... something like ... male 1 1 1 1 1i did the same - the black NPC happens because the last 3 values are for an RGB colour code. Red51 explained it quite well on the first page (i had the same question as you) and also on the steam forum - helpsection

Hehe, it sounds strange, but this is actually intended
The setnpcskin command works like this:setnpcskin [gender (male/female)][haircut (id)][beard (id)][haircolor (rgb)][eyecolor (rgb)][skincolor (rgb)], for example setnpcskin female 2 -1 0xAA0000 0x11AAFF 0xCCCCCC.
You just set a very dark skin color (black), and since there are no limitations (you could even give her blue or red skin color), you get this result
However, the parameters are optional, so if you only want to change the gender, for example, you can simply type setnpcskin female
ah that makes sense. though then its a bug that when i enter simply "setnpcskin female (or male)" that it sets back to a "normal" skin colour? Or will it reset every time i do this? So when i just want to change i.e. the gender i have to enter all values again -
i have tested on single player like this:
setnpc female 1 1 1 1 1
Result see picture
It resets to correct look by updating some of the npc-values (i.e. setnpc female)

Just use arrow keys. You will see a marking on the floor showing a line where the door will be in open position.
Just turn it into the standard position is opposite to open position of first door.
When you “close“ it now, it will be mirrored tp the first door
