Latest hotfix: 0.8.0.1 (2024-12-20)

We call them 'methods' in Java ;)

Well I did not make my living programming. I only started playing with Java when I picked up Rising World after I retired from 50 years of engineering and engineering management. Programmers built their routines to my specifications and from my feedback input on how the machines should behave in practical application. I had Fortran with WatFor and WatFiv in undergrad College run on punch cards on a main frame that had a one week turnaround for output. I did take one PLC class years later in post grad. Forgive me for messing up the vernacular as we always called them computer routines or applications. But hey I guess if I can learn to make the JAVA thingie do what I want, I can call it a 'method' in here so I won't get laughed at near the water cooler. Thanks for the heads up :wat::saint:

Yes, there is a language extension for English.
It should also be in English, but the penultimate Update with dme, a distinction between the System and in-game voice settings.
It Responds to the settings of the game.

But as long as the are not de, it will Automatically en.

Or did I get you Wrong? What Comandos do you mean?

No that is what I was asking. I am keen to try this but awaiting the finding of a suitable model to load. Not wanting to pay for a model I would prefer. I will try it,Thanks.

Ok I am confused by Netbeans when creating a new project. It gives you all these selections ; Java with Ant ; Java with Maven; Java with Gradle. Any Suggestions on which is the best to choose when starting a new Plugin for Rising World?

Seems I can use my blueprints but if I get to the point that the server stops from using them (setting in confige, I know) my blueprint directory dissappears even if I relog and get another set. Is this a feature of the game? The only way I get my blueprint directory back is to reboot my computer.:dizzy:

Update on this. I only have to close the game completely to get my file listings back.

So the question originally is in regards to the ocean and somewhat on ponds. I look out in a storm and notice the large body of water just sits there reducing immersion. The trees sway and even the grass sways. In a small pond the plants (Lilies) just sit there when the wind blows and as such detract from immersion. This game wows, friends of mine stop in awe at sundown colors or the sky at night that 'devil is in the details' you have already enfixed to the game .

As a wish list on flowing waters, I would like to direct water from the hilltops through hollow cylindrical building pieces and channels of blocks simulating aqueducts.

Personally I think the big thing people are wanting would be particle effects to make fountains, running faucets, splashing water, etc. things like that to go along with the water blocks you had mentioned about adding beforehand. I could be totally wrong but it seems a common thing for people to call that "flowing water", not knowing it's just particle effects.

I am looking forward to such effects as they are important to the finished look of flowing waters. You are correct that these are effects that a visual and needed as in a sprinkler system providing water to plants or a beautiful water fountain in a city center. Hopefully this is put in in a form of technologies like electricity and wire where click and run pipes can be installed from a water source and provide such displays as sprinklers that add to the growing and farming techniques as well.

Right now I have way too many NPCs on my server. They are spawning and ending up group up against mountains and water in huge herds. Is there a way to limit them short of deleting them all at once or one by one ?

there is a reloadpermissions command just for this

Yes and No on that. I restarted my server which should have reloaded the permissions (I would think) but it did nothing. The files are corrupted and are not seen by the server. I have a different post about this problem. All the files were in the directory but the game only saw that ones that were not adjusted. If they are corrupted by an online save or some fancy text / font crap they are not seen. I had this same experience in the JAVA version servers I ran. The listing of all the files in the directory and the listing in game for an area

You have to be careful editting these .json files as if they are changed while the server is running the server will not pick them up. It is best to use a generic editor or notepad and just save it over the file to avoid adding extra textural information being added to the file and the server will ignore it. Best is to make a copy and name the old one backup.json or something. They do need to be in the Areas directory for the server routine to see them. I just had this problem on my server and had to remove the corrupted files, re-edit a back up file and move it to the server Area directory.
