I just opened the server to the public today and the players say that the self claim timer keeps resetting after about 3 seconds even while not moving on a chunk. Does the plugin see the time amount played on the server to determine claims? One player has been on for eight hours now and still can not self claim.

You probably already noticed that, but only the terrain can hold water; blocks cannot.
I assume you placed the water with "F5" and tool 5 activated. To remove it, it's the same tool, but right click instead of left click. Remember you can increase the tool size ("+" on your numpad).
Thanks OZ! You certainly are a wizard!!

I did already suggest this one time and good news: red said he will make a setting for this in one of the updates

Awesome! I look forward to that update.

Uh oh, I tried to fill a empty square with water and it went all over the floor. I tried the "undo" and it did not work. Is there a way to "mop" up this water all over the place?
Thanks!

Not sure if this will help, but I go into window mode, hit esc to release my mouse, and then go online or do other stuff and the game runs in real time. Or it seems to because i can hear it raining then stop and the daylight has faded.

Hello, I was wondering if there is a plugin that allows players to craft certain items. My Wild West theme does not want players to craft "modern" items like flashlights, construction barriers, etc. I would like only items in that time period to be created. Like a plugin that displays ALL items that can be made and then just click the ones you want available.
Is that possible?
Thanks!

Hi James, I have another server running on WindowsGSM and the portals and admin switch plugins are not working. Is there something that needs to be tweaked to run on it? I thought I saw that the file folder needs to be a .cs or something.
-
I installed the plugin and it took a bit to get to know it. I went into "permissions of the claim and clicked myself as "resident". I didn't know until reading that it would block changes. So, is there a way to re make me owner? Or do I need to delete the area and try again? Also, at the top it still says "This chunk is owned by No owner found." I host a server and I am an Admin.

In the java version there was a pirate hat. Not sure why a lot of the clothes are no longer available in Unity.

How would a server owner find out the areas protected by F9?
The permissions.json has the "true" or "false" items listed to make things available or not. Here is an example of permissions one can have in their protected area...
"general": {
"changeblockshape": true,
"changeclothes": true,
"changegamemode": false,
"changeskin": true,
"crafting": true,
"destroyitems": true,
"destroyownvehicles": true,
"destroyvehicles": false,
"dropitems": true,
"edititems": true,
"editnpcs": false,
"editownitems": true,
"editownvehicles": true,
"editvehicles": true,
"fixedspawn": false,
"fly": false,
"godmode": false,
"healthregeneration": 0.5,
"instantdigging": false,
"keepinventory": true,
"noclipping": false,
"nofalldamage": false,
"nohungerthirst": false,
"nostamina": false,
"notemperature": false,
"openinventory": true,
"pickupitems": true,
"placeitems": true,
"placevehicles": true,
"pve": true,
"pvp": false,
So the above snippet shows what a player can or can not do while in the area. You can modify the "default" permission and save them as .json file (not txt) like "owner", "guest", etc. each permission modified to the players permission to do in that protected area. When you assign the owner of the property, set permission to owner and then the players name of that area. Player must be online at time of property protection assignment.

I think I know what is wrong. You both are right, I am/was in gm 1. As an admin/owner, I thought that the admin permissions were kind of like a "god mode" where you could do anything while in gm 0. The thing I am worried about is if I go into the console and do gm 1, will the other players get to do creative? or just me.

you are the bomb! A master of plugins and a kind person helping idiots like me to try and improve their server. It works great! However, I guess my "aggressive" NPCs are still non aggressive. I was hoping they would attack me on site but did not. I went into the editnpc mode and set the behavior as "aggressive" and in "Pve" mode still no one wanting to attack me.

Don't know that you'll find anyone still making plugins for the old Java version. I think everyone has switched over to the new Unity version.
Sorry, I meant the Unity version.

Was wondering if the brilliant plugin makers are willing to make some Admin Tools? I'm looking for a "NPC Locator" and an "Admin to player" testing feature.
I have named NPC's roaming around and would like to keep track of where they are and if anyone has killed them. That way, I can "re-spawn" the NPC's that are part of a theme or the shop workers, citizens, good and bad bandits, undead Pirates, etc. Only named ones! Not every NPC.
I am hoping for a option to be able to go from Admin to a player and back to admin again to test out permissions, NPC interactions, chests, etc.
Any brilliant, awesome, fantastic, super smart people out there willing to make some people's lives easier to make their server appealing to other players to keep the game going and to have red51 feel good about people buying his wonderful game to pay bills and to be able to eat good and drive a nice car all because someone made an awesome plugin that could help draw in players? Or maybe just to be nice?

Thank You.

you just don't listen

I have the permissions of guest for guests and owner for owner. Jimbow sent me the way he uses permissions on his server and they seem to be working just fine except for a couple bugs.

or adding items to the market yourself someone else buys you earn the cash
A player sent me this in email.....
"HI,
No, I can't access GM 1/ creative, and have to make items from scratch with all the necessary ingredients in my inventory. But the strange thing is, that when I place eg a workbench, I still have that workbench in my inventory. The same with blocks. Very odd.
Oh and the other thing - MikeVince bought some items that I'd placed in the market when we were both online - I saw the sale and what he paid flash up on the screen but I didn't get any money added to my account. When I sell stone or lumber I do get the cash, so not sure what went wrong there. I'm not wanting to get the money he paid, it wasn't much, but again, was a bit odd."

The player Saturno72 or Michael, as he called himself when he came to my server, placed blueprints in a player's base. I banned him offline. In my opinion, the permission system is also way too complicated and needs to be simplified.
That is exactly what he did to the player. He placed a blueprint building on the players own creation.

Can you spawn them?
only from the command prompt. But players do not get the option to build them. The three boats are there on the left, but nothing on the right
