Thank you! I thought the same too haha. I like the clean look

Some hidden secrets beneath the sci-fi city

A lot of RL works lately. Will get back on these projects on first week of Jan 2023 (holidays!)

I can't wait for electricity to control the lights—also, the water collision effect update.
My idea is to install sensors for the light floor to switch around colors while I'm walking. Combining with the
Wall/floor aquariums would be a great addition.

Yes, the less elements you use, the better the performance and the lower the memory consumption. The game combines all elements in a chunk to a single object when rendering, but you still end up with more polygons the more elements you place. And more polygons also mean higher memory consumption and "slower" world generation (because the game still has to process every single object when generating the chunk).
However, usually it's not a big deal, unless you want to build large structures consisting of very small elements (i.e. blocks much smaller than 1). It's getting problematic if you place hundreds of thousands of blocks in a single chunk, for example (usually this happens when building with tiny blocks)
Unless you're working with a tremendous amount of tiny blocks, there is usually no need to worry about this
Thank you, red51! It's good to know and helpful while trying to figure out the most efficient methods for the long term.

[unity version]
I'm curious what is the difference in memory consumption if I build a pillar with multiple blocks vs. resizing a single block that results in the same size?

Did you try changing grid size (G) with numpad + or - ? I think the smallest grid size 1 & 2 is thin enough for planks. I use 1 for designing wall patterns/art.

Canopy and nose done

A simple Star Wars inspired wall statue. Enjoy.
Darth Vader version is still in progress.

Coming soon

Hi everyone!
Sharing my blueprints for the first time.
I will share the decorated version soon (under this thread) because I know I will go crazy with details (wall arts and furnitures). This is more efficient version for those who doesn't like extreme details.
[Constructions: 1,044] [Objects: 42] [Plants: 24]
It can repaint easily to your fav colors
*a small empty area beside main door is suppose to be a mini garden. (soon).
*balcony floor can be removed (to build swimming pool in the future)
Enjoy!
Edit: The triangle symbol in the house is upside down
It was meant for The water symbol. The house is aqua theme.

Had to pause this project until next week due to irl works
Currently I just building smaller builds like houses and statues (still 12 floor height lol).

Yayy weekend! I just started building the dark lord.

Reinstalling the game plus deleting the game folder does fix the crashing issue at JIW logo screen.
My follow up issue is I don't see any water in the old worlds that I backup from previous install. Is it fixable or should I blueprint everything and transfer to new world?
Thank you!

Thank you Thank you for the wonderful update!

The new update is brilliant!
It's perfect timing for what I have been dreaming about. The Mandolorian is making me want to recreate the Star Wars buildings and spaceships especially Razor Crest!
At first, the Statue of Darth Vader

I looove it! Really nice to see more "unusual" player builds
Thank you 🙏

Mecha..............70% done
Overall all, I'm happy with the result. This is my first mecha build in RW, and I'm trying to complete this as soon as possible because this mecha design won't be included in my sci-fi city.
I over-experimented different shapes, and the design was more heavily detailed than I expected in my mind. Also, it looks like a Gundam mech rather than a unique sci-fi mech that will suit my city project.
I continue building this close to the station to measure the height of the mech. Hopefully, it will finish by today, and I will share the blueprint as promised. I must jump back into the city project as well.😛
