All settings which can be set to minimum have been set.
I've also set the view to 3 and detail distance to 5 chunks as well and running windowed at 1024 x 768.
Crashes now at 12%...
i don't play games on Linux because of driver problems, maybe your problem might just be this a video card driver problem

Excactly, but on the other hand, they could also just download a cracked version of the game. My problem is more that the game is not finished, yet, as I said. But maybe that is not a big deal.
finished or not, the game as it is right now gives you a very good idea of what its about and there's plenty to do, for a cracked one they don't need a demo game to crack it, it only takes one guy to buy it then crack it also look at minecraft 80 million + copys sold even with all the cracked copys i think 80 million x 17 could be a lot of cash dont you if this game was to sell 80 million copys at that price that is.
i like the idea of that log seat its nice
if they add this idea to the game it will give you more options and the more options the more people, i loved the settlers games and i feel this could bring some of the aspects of that sort of game to this one. needed iron gold ore and having the skills to test dirt for areas that may contain this sounds awesome as long as there is a point to it like needed type of ore to be able to make a type of sward or when cars come if they do we could look for oil to make fuel to run them hahaha if money was added also we could buy that fuel from users who make it to run our cars hahaha now i am dreaming ;-P
i think the trial should be for online only and only work with servers that have verification turned on, then they can be limited at the hive server end, i would also give them 7 days as this is enough time to build something and get you hooked on the game but not to long that you get bored with it, so some users will pay so they can keep building, the users who don't buy the game most likely would not buy it anyway.
I would just call it a sink. Wash basin isn't used for every day talk... well at least here in North America, maybe in Britian they say wash basin or something like that haha Maybe to be specific, washroom sink and kitchen sink. This is the issue with English, there is British English and North American English. They overlap of course but certain things are used in Britian which just aren't used over here. I doubt the Brits would say sink... could be wrong though haha
here in new zealand its a mix we call them sinks too but only if we add bathroom to it (bathroom sink) but wash basin is more common
I like it now more, because most of the time an update is coming every 2 weeks
so your worried about it only been once a month now so this is really about you wanting them to push them out as fast as they can, in a way we all do but at the same time they cannot keep doing this or they will just burn out and also users are much happier when they know the date of updates this has been proven over and over with other software, Microsoft don't do this and that's why you get shitty when you keep getting updates at random times dont you wish they did the update on the same day of each month lol i just hate it when you go to do some work turn on the computer and bam its updating and you end up waiting 30min for it to complete hahaha

How does this take the pressure? Then they HAVE to release a big update after 60 days
at the moment they have been giving us big updates every 4 to 6 weeks anyway making it 8 is just a even number i came up with and it may or may not work for them of cause it would be upto them to decide on this number but this is by far doable, would you not like to know that on the 1st of every month the game will get a update or do you like it to be more random?
ive been seeing a big decline in the number of users who come on and was wounding why, so i went out and did some of my own research and found that there are a lot of people wanting to get this game but don't want to pay anything till the game is finished, so what i was thinking is why not add a 7 day free trial, this will increase the users and make it more well known also a % of the users will buy the game once the 7 days are up witch will in turn increase your sales
Why would they want to do it this way?
Because then everyone knows when the updates will come and also takes the presser off the developers, most developers can do a lot of coding and bug testing in a 60 day period also keeps things on track
Yeah last weeks of march kept us ultra busy concerning smaller things and bugfixes, as well as some stuff in this needless "reallife", that's why this update takes so long
We also spent a lot of time for preparing some bigger stuff (it won't be in the next update, and it will still take a long time, but you will definitely like it once it's ready).
Sorry for the lack of information, afaik there was really no english information in this board (but it has been mentioned in the Steam forum at least).
Believe me, it was really just an exception, especially since it's not going to be a very big update though (and 4 weeks are too long for small updates)
every 30 days is fine for a update i made a post about this some weeks back stating that you guys should use the tick tock development model where you release a small update then a big one so big updates would be every 60 days between the small updates and if say you made this happen on the same day every month like the 1st day of every month we get a update

yes English is hard to under stand because of this problem but if you type wash basin into Google image search you will get wash basin's on there own if you type Lavatory you will get what ever goes into to a toilet room like the toilet, a wash basin, a bath, ect ect because its common to call this room a Lavatory or a toilet or bathroom or loo lol
