Can't one hit in creative

Title is pretty self explanatory. Maybe i'm just being a nub or something and missing how to do it.

you need to set the gametype with console command, insert "setgametype 1" to enable creative mode

There actually is no difference between Creative and Survival atm

I thought you could one hit things though. Like cutting down a tree and turning them into logs with one hit.

Once you have done the setgametype thing, you will be able to cut a tree down in one hit, then will need a second hit to turn it into logs. (You can also turn the stump into a log in one hit if it is in your way.)
