Suggestion: A method to locate the main base again

I headed North to find an arctic island for aluminum and lost my starter island and main base. To my recollection I went three islands North and one East before finding it, but when I retraced my route..nope.

Made a temp base and searched multiple islands in all directions...nope. Felt like I was a Lost in Space character and honestly, after awhile became a bit soul-sucking.

I know the compass has a small needle pointing to our spawn point and I did follow it until it suddenly would point in a different direction but no island I came to had either my base marker of even my starter island configuration.

So if we need to set sail for different lands at times I`d suggest a way to find home again.

Maybe the ability to scroll out beyond one island at a time to see islands we`ve already visited or an additional compass marker for out base as well as a spawn point?

You can see your coordinatates with F3.

I built very big luminous balls, like suns in the sky, colored. In earlier times I used torches to show my way back or high colored pillars for orientation.

Wenn du ein Bett oder Zelt gebaut hast, sollte die Kleine Nadel auf das Letzte Benuzte zeigen.
Mit findbase in der Console solltest du den Mittelpunkt deiner Größten Bauten erhalten.
Aber eine Übersicht aller entdeckten Insel wehre nicht schlecht.
Bis dahin muss man sich mehr Wegweiser Bauen, an jeder Insel einen, den Bereich des Wegweisers kann mann ja in der Karte Verzeichnen.

If you have built a bed or tent, it should show the Small needle on the last you use.

With findbase in the Console you should get the center of your Largest buildings However, an Overview of all the discovered island weirs not bad.
Until then, you have to Build more of a guide, on each island, the area of the signpost has been the man in the map.
