Hi, I always wanted to try a server, but I never knew how to actually do it... Can someone help me out a bit?

download WindowsGSM this is the easiest and quickest way to start a server. Check out You Tube videos on it and you will be up and running in about 15 minutes. I have three servers running off it and no issues!

btw, do the servers run on your ow pc (so it has to be turned on 24/7)?
yes I run three servers on a tiny computer with only12 gigs RAM. Running all my PC's ( and one Linux), for 24 hours a day. OR you can spend money per month on other game hosting sites like Ping Perfect, Shop around a little if you go that direction.
