Max Building Height?

While building a space needle I have found an issue were at a certain height you can not build any higher. Is this a limitation of the game or a bug?

Currently it's a limitation of the game. The world has a total height of 1152 blocks, 256 blocks are for the surface. But we will add another layer (=64 block) or eventually two (=128 blocks) to the top soon

i would love to see this go another 256 blocks higher so we could build in space lol
