i looked atsome movies on youtube about construction materials
and noticed that some people use other materials like stone planks
is this a mod or is it in command
or do this people change the materials manualy
hope you understand what i mean

in the console. You will find the ID by using the blockbank

Have you looked at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9HETK7fDxs? It tell you how to use the extended construction system. At any rate if you press G when you place wood planks etc it will lay our a grid system. Objects will snap to it. You can then press you left click on your mouse to step back and look at it. For some reason the tutorial part of the forums is down or you could read Meltron's tutorial for beginners which is excellent.

i would like round beams can't be to difficult
We don't have blocks, woodbeam/-planks for domes at the moment.
Be aware that this is only an alpha version.
But you can use arches with stone texture.
Big arches are possible with woodbeam/planks, shown in some videos.
We need to be a little patient i think.
Maybe we could have it for Christmas?
