Controller Support

Unfortunately the forums, server list and report tool were offline last night due to technical issues. Sorry for the inconvenience! It should be working again.
However, unfortunately the Standalone update is temporarily not available. We expect it to be fixed in a couple of hours. Please let me know if you want to get a Steam key instead!
  • I'd prefer you didn't add a default controller support
    or made it so you could disablethe default contoller
    layout and map your own where many of us use
    xpadder or joy2key.

  • When we're going to add controller support somewhen in the future, it's our goal to allow custom mapping ;) But ofc can't get into detail yet about a feature we haven't even started working on ^^

  • I just use Xpadder with my old 360 wired controller. RW works like a charm that way, and I don't have to worry about wearing out my expensive-to-replace laptop keyboard.


    Would built-in controller support be nice? Of course. But I can see it getting really messy too (there's a lot of different controllers out there!) and you'd have to include the ability for the player to customize the buttons (cause you know they'd demand that).


    I agree, there's a lot more important stuff to take care of first.

    But as said, when we implement controller support, it's our goal to support custom mapping. But controller support has a really low priority right now ^^
