Package name requirements?

Is there -- or will be there -- any requirement / limitation on the package name used for a plug-in?

I usually use my own reverse-domain-qualified package name + app name (as in "com.vistamaresoft.mywonderfulplugin"); any problem?

No problem, no requirements to the package name
Actually there might be problems if two different plugins use exactly the same names for their classes and their packages, but I guess there is just a small chance that this happens.

About files and directories, I have replied here, trying to keep the discussion about this topic all together.

About repositories, I believe this a topic important enough to have a thread of its own, doesn't it?
