Think I know the answer, but...
Is it possible to have "glass" beams, planks, triangles?

I think I know which answer you think you know...
But, no it is not possible. and the plug-in cannot be extended to support this, as the game basics does not support it in the first place. Glass is not simply a texture you can apply in stead of another, it is a different material and there is no way to change the material the game applies to an item.
That is what I thought
Me again.
This plugin has been very useful and popular on our server! I was wondering if it would be possible to give the capability to make it so that people that have the specific "freecrafting" permission when using .permissions group files get the pnb's for "free". This would be in addition to the property that you provided to allow for "free" pnb's for "Creative Mode" (gamemode 1). Some servers have players in "semi-creative" mode. i.e. players in "Creative Mode" (gamemode 1) but restricted permissions to only give them certain Creative Mode capabilities.
I hope that I'm making sense here with my question.

This is a great idea since too many planks and beams are spent during the creative process.

Well he has already provided the capability in the properties to allow for "free" pnbs if in Creative Mode (gamemode 1), but this would be a more restrictive allowance for free pnb's only for those with the specific "freecrafting" permission in .permissions group files.
In principle, it can be done. I do not have a clear idea how to access the details of permission files from within a plug-in, but I believe I can make it straight.
An important point is how may permission details should be taken into account and which ones. "freecrafting" only? also "infiniteitems"? Any other?

As far as I can figure the only one that pnb plugin should need to consider is the "freecrafting" permission in order to allow players with that permission to use pnb without cost. The "infiniteitems" permission would be handled via the group permissions files.
A new 0.4.1 version of the PnB plug-in is now available.
New:
*) Fixed a bug with the radio buttons to select the type.
*) In creative mode, resources are free only if the permission file for the player has "freecrafting" set to true.
Nice! Checking it out now.
.... the "free for freecrafting permission only" appears to work perfect!
Greetings.
I was using the plugin normally in the single player, but today I started a new map and the plugin was no longer "resource-free", "asked" for wood to add PLANKs to my inventory.
Should that happen?
I edited the "settings.properties" txt and I think it solved.

The plug-in defaults to "non-free"; if you re-installed it, chances are it reverted to default settings. Of course, in single player, it is not necessary to re-install the plug-in when a new map is created: plug-ins are common to all the local worlds.
Anyway, do I understand correctly that the problem is solved?
I do not really remember having reinstalled, but I've changed TXT and everything is as it should be.
Thank you very much for your GREAT plugin, it transforms the game in an unparalleled way.
I'm having a littleI'm having some trouble getting this to work... I've installed the GUI plugin, everything looks good directory-wise, but when I attempt to run this, the console says "command not supported." anyone have any ideas?
type /pnb in the chat not the console
Thank you! I'm in your debt. And feel like a bit of a fool.
How do I change the properties file? It's not a file type 7 Zip recognizes, and crafting isn't free in creative mode. How do I change that?
7zip is a compressed file extension as well as a file compression/decompression program it has nothing to do with the properties file which is a simple text file you can open with notepad, wordpad, gedit, vim, or any other freeware text editor widely available.
Then to get pnb free on creative mode you only need to change the setting: freeForCreative from 0 to 1 in the properties file.
Is there an update planned for the pnb plugin. Seems to be messed up with the update.
until it is created
console commands for pnb material
log is item woodlog amount texture
plank is item woodplank amount texture
triangle is item woodplanktriangle amount texture
beam is item woodbeam amount texture
these are only good if you can spawn from the terminal ie
commands:
deny:
- *
allow:
- itemgive
I was told was the setting in permissions to allow spawning of everything
