Hosting a server, but won't let me connect

Positive on my server anyway. When I turn it on, I get connection errors 100% and others complain as well.

All our servers run with n
server_hive_verification=true

It works without problems.

I have the same issue with my zap hosting server.

If i put it on false than i can connect. Is this actually stil in work?

edit: If i go out of the Game completely and start it again my hole inventory is lost. But if i only go back into the main menu i can join again and i lost nothing. (I do not know if this is a problem already known)

HIVE verification requires that a connection to our server is possible. The IP is 144.76.195.146 and the port is 5001. If the connection is somehow not possible, or blocked, it causes the "No authentication possible" problem.

@Mageluni: Does it happen always? When you're in main menu, you see your username at the top left. Is it always correct, even after restarting? What about the connection symbol?

Hello red51: yes it happen always. how i said, the hife verification is off on the server cause i can´t join it anyway else. Zap hosting installed the server and i get the port 4855.

Da mein englisch so grottenschlecht ist schreibe ich es lieber nochmal auf deutsch drunter^^: Also das mit dem Inventar passiert regelmässig aber wie gesagt mein server ist die hive verifizierung auch ausgeschaltet da ich sonst nicht joinen kann. Ich hab mir den Gameserver von zaphosting angemietet die erstellten mir den Server im vorfeld und ich habe den Port 4855 hinten bekommen. Nun blick ich echt nicht woran das liegt. Achja der witz ist setzlinge die ich setze oder feste blocke die platziere und auch sachen die ich in kisten packe bleiben erhalten nur das inventar verschwindet es macht mir den eindruck als ob der server mich jedesmal nach neustarten des "SPIELS" als neuen Spieler sieht auf den Server. Ich spawne auch ein paar meter entfernt von meiner letzten stelle. Wenn ich aber im "SPIEL" bleibe im "MAIN MENU" zum Beispiel dann kann ich einfach wieder joinen und alles ist da wo es hingehört.

Yup that fixed it. I didn't know about port 5001. I must have missed that somewhere but ensuring that port is open allowed me to turn hive verification back on.

I have opened the ports, the firewall is completely off, the antivirus is off and i can´t join the server if i put it on "on".

Mageluni: We will ask zap if communication through port 5001 is blocked, that could cause the error. Have you looked at your own connection icon and your username in the main menu?
(Wir fragen mal bei zap nach ob die Kommunikation über Port 5001 möglicherweise blockiert wird, das könnte den Fehler verursachen. Hast du denn mal nach deinem Verbindungssymbol und deinen Usernamen im Hauptmenü geguckt?)

@red51 Many thx for asking Zap i have startet a support ticket yesterday they want wrote me later but still there may be looking for the problem. My connect Symbol is every time green. And my Username is the right one. But if iam on the Server my name is asdb-1234 123412 141 412 bca1 or something else so i think ther server think we are guest without a licence. That´s the problem i think with the inventory if we are going out of the game and restart the hole game.

Also ich habe gestern bei zap bereits angefragt die wollten sich mit mir nochmal per email zusammen setzen ist aber bisher leider nicht geschehen. Daher finde ich es gut das Ihr nochmal nachhakt. Verbindungssignal is immer top grün is nicht unterbrochen und nichts. Kollege ist gerstern zwar paar mal geflogen aber das Problem kann ja zwischendurch auftreeten bzw. er hat keinerlei ports bei isch frei gemacht daher denke ich wird es daran liegen. Wir wollten aber jede Art verbindungsmöglichkeit testen meine Frau und ich sind nicht geflogen (welch wunder gleiches Netzwerk). Ich denke echt das der Server sobald die authentication ausschaltet jeden als gast betrachtet.

Also nach einem update lief der Server rund und alles ist schick ich bin schwerstens begeistert. wenn ich eine Anmerkung machen darf wäre schön wenn ihr die Server version am Download hinzufügt. so weiss man immer welche man schon aufen rechner hat und welche nicht. Denn laut den up daten die ich gesehen habe aufen Server passten die und ich habe es einfach mal so ausgetauscht um es zu testen ob die nun doch aktueller sind. Und ZACK läuft. Ick freu ma riesig Vielen Dank für deine Mühe red51
