creating gently sloping land

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I have been trying to find a way to slope the ground at an angle. Right now in my world I have a lot of places where I have terraformed the land but I am left with very steep 90 degree angles. Thanks.

if you don't mind entering creative mode in your world you can use the F5 -> 2 tool to smoothen out the sharp edges.

If You have a desert area on your map, you can use the dry dirt to smooth it. Put the dry dirt down and make it higher than the ground, then use the rake to smooth it out.
