It's been stuck downloading textures.jar for 12 hours I'm so mad that it's so slow I mean what the heck 27kb/ second??? 429.6 megabytes out of 678.4 mb had already been downloaded in like 6 hours but then it's just stuck??? I want a refund or a solution to this problem.

Don't be so rude. The dev has already offered that he would exchange the key to steam version under some conditions.
Who knows.. Maybe its your hamster that didn't run fast enough in its wheel?

Our servers are located in Europe, so unfortunately the download speed will be lower if you live in the US. However, 27 kB/s is too slow and definitely not normal
Does the issue still persist? What antivirus program do you use exactly? Do you use any firewalls?
