My horse died while I was riding it. Nothing injured it either, I was riding on flat ground. Just died right from under me. Do horses have lifespans, like, can they die after a certain period of time even if they don't get injured?

Probably what happened! I was going down a hill and maybe I fell without noticing, and the game was lagging at the time.
