A new game was announced a few days ago called Hytale.
Although Rising worlds landscape still looks better, this one has been dubbed "Minecraft 2"
Still cartoonish the game still looks great and its going into beta soon

The next update will be available on Wednesday, December 18, in the early evening (GMT+1).
This update will not yet replace the Java version, instead it is the actual content update. We'll provide more information about the transition together with the update.

Looks like most other mc clones out there. Still blocky and too colorful. so made for a very young audience.
Rw shines with the well thought content.
Just needs more attention.
