Same here I'm not saying that there is any but iv been here for years and to be honest I personal haven't seen any kind of spam in the forums?
If you could point out where and who I'm sure most of us would kill it off straight away.

Not sure if Im understanding you right if you mean the GUI doesn't disappear after you have selected the items that you need? then it's not suppose to (as far as i know) all you have to do is click on the little red x in the top right-hand corner and this will close the pnb gui

zfoxfire that would be just the icing on the cake having flowing water in cave systems and pounds/waterfalls, and I think we all know how hard that must be to implant and look good, after all the water physics in minecraft are very basic and would look so out of place in RW

I just added this plugin last night and noticed that when hitting M for map, it wont go away after you hit M again.
On one of the servers that i play in is also having the same problem the only way is to press "esc" but I also noticed that when the server had a problem and this plug-in wasn't working right pressing the "M" key would open & close the map ok?

Nice work on the terrain generation things are really beginning to look very good on this front, guess we will have no more standing on the tip of a needle

also will you be adding water/pounds (static or animated) in the first tech demo or is that a way off yet? any screen shots would be nice if you have any

Well I guess the easy way is to just change that key from within the game options under (controls), as far as I know the default option doesn't use the "U" key so I'm guessing that you may have rebound it?, but unless of course you know how to use notepad++ and if there is a way of changing it from within the actual plugin? maybe yahwho would be able to tell you more.

Inside the plugin folder, there should be a nested folder called "img" and inside that there should be a single jpg file called background.jpg
plugins/MRPrecision/img/background.jpg
Thank you for some reason the names on the folders had changed which is why the skin wasn't showing, all good now

Hi iv just popped into your server and at first glance it was very good and i can see a lot of work is going into it, ive just got a couple of question
You state that it's a Survival server but nothing can kill me ie any NPC's or the wildlife will attack me? and with just a basic tool its a one hit (semi creative).
I like having the levels in the game but at each level are all the different things that you get?
No GPS in game this is good for having different way points for a player to jump too (if you are allowing that).
No ABM ?
I hope the server does well apart from my few concerns for me to stay.

Hi I've just reinstalled this (been away from the game) and for some reason the skin now isn't working for me all I'm getting is a plain white skin "I'm guessing iv got the jpg in the wrong place" where exactly dose this go again?

MommaT as far as i know "game wise" so the demo should be the same; both versions will have their own separate EXE so you can still carry on with the java version and nothing will over write anything

We've updated our Trello roadmap and also added a new screenshot about painting objects. In short, the new version enables you to colour most objects (furniture, doors etc). This is done in multiple stages, so instead of just fully colouring an object, you can easily achieve a "worn-out" look: https://trello-attachments.s3.…01e02bad7/door_colors.gif
We've also started working on the new building tools. There will be some exciting improvements compared to the old version which makes building a lot easier (especially if you want to create rounded structures). We'll post a separate announcement about that soon

Like that there will be new building tools to what is already a very good system and some sort of improvement to creating circular structures, altho its easier enough to do ( in the Java version) it's just very time consuming

Is the Demo based on Java or on C++/C#
because Java is memory hungry as far as I remember..
Specially when it comes to hosting servers.Hi Renjestoo the demo that you are asking about is the new version that's being redone in Unity, also it will be manly a "Tech demo" or a walking demo so Red51 can see how it is working, and as far as i know will be only single player. you can keep right up to date here https://trello.com/b/t5Leypcj/rising-world-development
-
This is a strange one for me I agree with having a demo and also waiting for a more fully fledged demo, but if I had to make a chose then it would be to have some sort of demo out (even in a very basic form) just so we and Red51 can get a feeling of how the game engine/mechanics are working and most importantly too give feedback back to Red51 to improve and game and to add any features for the game.
I remember getting the original game years ago (maybe 2015 ish) and that was a early version, altho most of the building mechanics was in then it was still rough around the edges, but without the feed back / suggestions it could have been a different story of how I have enjoyed not only playing the game in single/multi player but in seeing how each update makes the game better.

Thanks a lot for your feedback

Hehe, well, we can define a max size per object individually. We're open for feedback and suggestions about proper size constraints
I guess for survival mode, a max size of ~ 3x5 blocks (width x height) for doors would be reasonable (given that the default size is 2x4 blocks). For creative mode, however, we could remove this size restriction
for the size constraints also long as say a horse+and character can both go though a "barn door" all should be good!!

Creating proper double doors will be a lot easier in the new version
You will be able to flip / mirror the door while placing. So in order to create a double door, you would place a door, then just place another, mirrored door next to it. Good thing is both doors will open in the same direction in this case.In addition to that, the game will automatically detect opposite doors, so opening one door opens the other one right next to it as well:
It's little things just like this that makes me so happy for things to come in the future

-
Not sure if this is even possible ( and far as I know it isn't ) but it would be great if we could design our own doors in planks n beams and some how save that design into a working door? I do understand that i am asking too much with this but hay silly ideas sometimes turn into stupid ones

.One last thing is it still going to be possible to blueprint in game objects (like doors / trap doors) and use them in different ways ??

Really you get rid of your pc for an Xbox

to find your rising world game file go to your steamLibrary (c) / steamapps/common/Risingworld/
Put all your plugins within the "plugins" folder

I'm quite surprised to see any sort of story mode that low after all did anyone stop and think " where did we come from? how did we get here? are we alone here (NPC's

) .Thanks for sharing all the results very interesting..
