I'm guessing that when Red implants "Movable Structures" (not any time soon) we will be able to make our own doors / gates / ect ect

I remember doing this with NMS (No Mans sky) so I can't rem all the operations that you need to do but maybe this may at lest help a little, but please remember anything that you try is all down to you, and you may have to disconnect from the net to stop the game updating??
Goto Steam DB https://steamdb.info/
search for Rising World / on the left-hand side, click on Depots click on the ID that you need (Windows) is 324081 (Game)
Click on Manifests and copy the manifests ID
You now need to open the Steam console steam://nav/console

Isn't that just a blueprint!!, but I understand where you are coming from: just drop a crafting table (box) place a sign on it / a little bit of magic with a video editor and presto a house

Im all for skeletons spawning at night but would be better not just in a random area but at cave entrances / or abandoned buildings ( when or if they are added)

Hi if you press the backspace key that will re-set the object to the correct (original) position, as for the pathfinding I agree that this could be a bit better and im sure that over time Red will improve on that once the game gets more of the main stuff back into the game.

This is why I do miss the "favourite" folder which was in the old version, but I do like the idea also from above with having named folders too.

Is it possible to do a split door? i.e Stable doors and have the two work independently, or does it have to be just one door?

I have and still working on something similar based on "No Mans Sky" stuff, and the best way that I have found is to get it as close as possible (by eye)
/ enable manual position, then change your Move / Rotation precision down to the lowest 0.01. (Rotation my not be needed) apart from this I'm not too sure if there is anything else apart from keep trying.
This for me seems the best way forward

I built something similar last Christmas and asked Red the same sort of question and Red replied that when electricity is implanted making timed switches will be possible, but of course this part of the game may be a while off.

Hello Red51 / community not sure if I have missed this anywhere or if its even been asked for but just for a QoL action that I personally would like is the ability to rotate elements using a combination of k/b + the mouse wheel, i.e. L/Shift + Mouse wheel up = Rotate clockwise / Mouse Wheel down = Rotate Anti-clockwise, this in my opinion would make when doing curves a lot faster & easier instead of having to press a key each time to rotate it.

You can also in the game settings / miscellaneous, change to "Instance digging".

I guess this is where we need a windmill Grinder and when we get the option of movable objects (central pivot) surely this is a nailed-on building?
