Hi I haven't played the game for a while and I might be wrong here or even got the wrong end of this thread, but I think your having this problem because of the world grid, the buildings that you have got originally placed are not placed on the WORLD GRID at the beginning.
So when you come to place the protected area which confines with the world grid you end up with your problem.
Again I might be wrong here but going by your last screen shot that is what it looks like to me.
Just try copying your own blueprints into the other profiles / players blueprint folder that you have got set up on your computer, I'm guessing that each profile / character have their own blueprints. As I'm the only that that uses my computer, I can't be totally sure.
Maybe log into one of the other profiles and check if the BP folder is empty, then just copy/paste.
Don't know if that's going to be any help, but that is what I would check.
Yes you can still fill holes by two ways: in survival mode
by using the rake you can raise/lower the ground - left/right mouse buttons
You can also level or increase the ground with stone/mud/gravel, make sure it's in the hot bar, and you have it selected press and hold the action key (C) for more actions, you can also move it around with the arrow keys & pageup/pagedown keys
Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying the latest update, Red51 and the team have done a fantastic job with the game so far.
Now I was just wondering how everyone feels about how easy it is to just kill a few bandits and loot all the items at the camps and in fact all the POI's?, for me being able to take everything has really taken away the need to really craft a lot of stuff.
So would it be better that with certain items that we can not loot them!.
For me, I would much prefer that nothing can be taken apart from the very basic stuff and maybe go a little further and say some stuff / buildings are only available to the Dev's, (for me at lest) this would keep exploring the world a lot more exciting and enjoyable, to come across something that is just new and different to see

When you done the uninstallation, did you check that EVERYTHING was removed? 9 times out of 10 just running the uninstaller doesn't remove everything and in some cases it will leave some files behind (for when you reinstall) these would normally be the config files, you could try just remove that file from your Rising World folder / New version (just cut and paste) to the desktop and when you run the game again it will be like the first time you have run the game! and in the worst case that that still didn't help just paste the original file back again.
Now Im not saying that doing this will help, but in some games it can.
This would be a great idea to have but until we get the ability to create custom movable structures which is/was/maybe planned ? to a central pivot, we will have to stick with what's in game.
Yes, I've noticed too, that more and more videos are appearing that are being suggested to me. Before, I always had to search pretty persistently for them.

Been watching Kage848 for a while, glad he is playing and loving Rising world, I've noticed that there are a few streamers actually picking this little gem up and playing it on both YouTube / Twitch which was always the point in the new game engine, and with the new update just around the corner may even bring more, shame TheRadioman03 isn't around any longer
Not one to cause any sort of trouble but as the old saying goes " A bad workman blames his tools" there can do a few different reasons why there are gaps ( like what Deirdre said) If you have got space between any blocks how about remove it resize it and replace it to fit, all could have done within a few seconds job done!!.
Not to sure how tools would help apart from making them quicker, for me a better way would be to have a section for transport (when we get them) that includes textured blocks/shapes & train tracks with markings on them!!

The F9 key is for the in-game area protection mode.
Its best to be in creative mode, either start a new game and set it as "creative" or you can go into creative by pressing the tilde key ` and typing GM 1 (GM 0) will turn it back off.
Press F9 and click n hold your left mouse button and drag it around the area that you would like to protect ( Red box ) you can change the size by the pageup / pagedown keys and also by the arrow keys.
Once you have covered the area that you need, click and hold your right mouse button that will create the area for you, once done you can now press 2 this is the area edit mode.
Make sure the area is green ( just move outside and look at the area that you have just created) now press and hold your right mouse button, this will bring up a sub menu with which you can add a name to your area plus other things.
I haven't played this for a while but as far as I remember this is all correct.
or just make a large block ( your choice of texture) and just slid it in underneath also
I'm guessing that when we have the ability to place items in the world persistently (which is planned) this would be a great craftable item to have
Like SonoBionda said, make sure you are in creative mode first:
Press F9 > then 1 (create area)
Create your area by dragging your mouse from point A -B , then right click and hold your mouse button to create the area.
Once done, move to the outside so you can see the created area (green) and again right-click to bring up a menu to show all the options for that area.

Loving all of these updates Red and im so glad that the game is slowy getting better and not forgotten, i was just wondering would it be possible to have the update notes shown on the title screen somewhere so we can see whats been updated? maybe a window that we could scroll through.

The best way for this is to use maybe a press or chisel to have a pre-defined patten(s) that maybe Red can include instead of it being an individual player patten and having that problem that CursedXistence mentioned??? Although I guess this is more a face texture then creating a shape
Loving the new update so far, I haven't played the game for a while so coming back is great, It would be nice if there was a progress bar showing the item durability all the time in the quick slots too, 
Hi Chassy you can do that at the start right after you have created your new world you will see 5 different boxes, the last one "Animals" just deselect all the animals / monsters that you don't want to have, or just turn on peaceful mode in the settings.
