this could be similar to how someone is seeing solid blue when underwater.
in the config.properties file in your game folder, there should be a new setting in there for post processing. set it from true to false and try again

Great news Mac users! Looks like the current mac issue is now fixed in code. Red's working through other issues such as the dungeon spawning and other stuff before releasing a patch
On the subject of graphical glitches, game works beautiful for me on my PC running Win 10. However, I found one new issue. The "shadow" only show up when I walk towards the tree.

Can we block what items can be spawned in dungeon chests? There was some concern yesterday about players on a server being able to get a hold of tnt. Does this fall under "pickup" ?
Some others have reported the horizon issue as well. I haven't heard of anyone's worlds not converting. Could you possibly share your server log with us? If you copy it to your local machine and load it, you can set the following setting in config.properties to enable the debug console:
game_debug_console=true
same here searched for an hour or so in 3-4 new games but nothing, not even a underwater ruin

However I have found a number of ruins. I am going to open a used Piano store soon because I have already got over 100 slightly used and dented pianos in stock

no luck for me. i've tried several new games, flew around underground a while, also not finding anything in the desert either. just a bunch of shacks.
I got snow in the tundra but outside of it, i tried to set weather to rain but it did not rain. Perhaps I have to wait a while for it to transition to rain from sunny.
definately more colorful. i also too a dive in fps. i used to get a solid 60fps but now its around 20. there is a new option in config.properties to disable the new lighting ( set graphic_logarithmic_depth_buffer to false ).
At this point we just have to wait for Red51 to respond.
After seeing the excessive shacks and caves appear to be broken outside of spawn world part. I'm going to wait till a few updates hit before updating my server.
Also, another Mac user is having issues loading the game. I told him to report the problem. Could be a mac issue. I think some extra issues Mac related came up in the last stretch of testing but those got squashed before this update. Could be a new one.
i spawened one, gonna make so u can't spawn records ,the gramaphone sounds sweet, and hoping there is a way to change what is in the random chests, walked around and found TNT in one
Good point. i know you can ban what items are craftable but not sure about random spawns. Hopefully red gives us an update to how to modify the permissions files. I'd also like a better description of the item section as its not described well enough
Disregard. A patch came out about 10 minutes ago that fixed the problem. basically the world was not completing its generation so i stepped outside the field of detail from the initial spawn point. all is well now
