    Red,

at 19:30 (start earlier to see the rest of the fence collisions) it seems like the cow glitches through a fence, although maybe its like jumping over but jumping is not really animated yet.

If anyone was curious about penning up farm animals, Red51 stated (in a joking manner) on Steam that you could technically use a rolling pin to chase a cow or pig towards a penned area then block off the exit. Ofcourse in the future there will be better ways to domesticate animals but I mentioned this to a youtuber who actually pulled it off! ;)

BTW, Radioman has an awesome lets play series. The action begins at 10:40 incase the link starts from the beginning.

the rotation restriction is on placing a crafted storage container. A blueprint not including blocks is free to rotate so in theory a blueprinted crate should be rotateable as a barrel is. Some people have exploited this to create the appearance of a cellar with beer barrels on their side. Very lovely looking incidentally.

I just had a thought about how nice it would be to place a full or empty bucket. A full bucket placed next to a furnace seems appropriate. An empty bucket placed outside would be great for catching future rainfall. :)

I also had a thought about stacking the new storage crates but that won't work since they open upwards. It would be cool to recreate the end scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Oh geez, I haven't seen that movie since I saw it in the theater in the 1980s. As I vaguely recall, there was that blast fishing scene in it. I think it's time I pick the series up on DVD or via iTunes and watch it again. Seeing as TNT is on the "Not yet working" list, who knows what the future of the game will bring.

Yup! The movie started with him dropping dynamite sticks into the hudson river to fish. He was promptly visited by the NYPD on a boat :-D

When this flag marker (a special craftable item) is implemented, its location should be registered and visible in the API. We should be able to see markers owned by a user or global/public markers.

I was unaware of this affect as you go underground. But I have personally observed it when I go to work at the office and all the crazy stuff happens. I love the attention to realism. Perhaps one day there will be an office in hell. I figure it would be an opportunity for us IT guys to prepare for the afterlife!

Maybe the heartbeat after you die in hell is a feature. I imagine that if I respawned after being in such a scary place then i would take a while to calm down. Hell, it takes me a few hours to calm down after driving home.

i think that what OP is observing is how terrain data is stored in a block-like grid. Im sure there might be a good technical solution to this problem either in how the data is stored or rendered so the ground looks less stepped and more natural. Red would have to answer this regarding what long term changes would be to how the world data is stored and rendered.

Found another bug... So I have a medium size crate placed. I'm on page 3 of the inventory and double-click something in my personal inventory to transfer it. The item is moved to a random slot on page 1 instead of page 3. If I drag the item instead of double-clicking, it goes to the intended page.

And now I can't reproduce the error. The game crashed. I restarted and now the crate is working properly. I should probably leave debug mode turned on.

Ok...it happened again but only on certain items then the problem went away. I'll try and get a log next time it happens.

    Very neat!

Are you familiar with the Masdar City? It's an Arabic city out in the desert designed to be self-sustaining. They have a unique design of narrow streets and tall buildings to help keep the outdoor areas and the sides of buildings out of direct sunlight to reduce cooling costs. Underground is used for transportation. They have a network of community access cars that drive you around to various destinations.

Anyways, I definately like the idea of circular design. The slanted buildings I figured that even in low density areas, circular roadways would be a huge benefit for packing in homes and businesses more efficiently. It would also greatly reduce intersections and traffic congestion. Anyways, I'm just waiting for electric self-driving cars to really take off. i envision a future where car ownership is more of a luxury rather than a necessity. Uber and Lyft are already showing how the traditional taxi service is becoming a thing of the past. There is a huge interstate expansion taking place where I live that's going to greatly increase the throughput. However, just imagine if everyone was getting around by driverless car. You'd have less conjestion and accidents due to human judgement, possibly lots of carpooling opportunities (essentially what Uber and Lyft open the door to). I also think my city should have dedicated bus lanes and put out more busses. More people would likely take the bus if the experience was more consistent and the on time. I take the train in to work as often as I can. It avoids a huge mess of traffic and when I come back home, it drops me off within a mile of where i live which is around the spot where the evening rush-hour traffic ends.

Well... I can go on for hours thinking about cool things we could be doing. I get very hopeful of the future at times even as frightening as it is at times considering how much we've refaced our planet already and our population is predicted to grow to about 11billion before it tapers off. :\
