Well, actually there isn't a "fixed" value which can be considered as "safe". It heavily depends on the hardware, poly count and of course also on the complexity of the shader. In addition, you cannot influence the draw calls directly. I.e. creating 1000 objects (e.g. 3d models) doesn't mean there will be necessarily 1000 additional draw calls. Instead there might be some objects which require more draw calls, but there might be also several objects which will be culled (not visible -> almost no impact on performance) ![]()

So I have to buy more memory for my commercial server?
This error happend on the client, so it's not related to the server. But it doesn't necessarily mean that your computer needs more memory, there could be many other reasons why this error occurred (not enough memory allocated by the game, or a plugin that used too big images, or a bug in the game etc).
Please send us the errorlog, it will provide more information about what was going on there exactly.

Actually the "deprecated" tag isn't 100% correct: originally this class became public by accident although it wasn't ready (and it doesn't work atm). But we couldn't just remove it since it would break any plugins which use this class (even if it was just in the imports), so we marked it as deprecated... but maybe it will be "re-added" in the future

I can try using guipanels that are 1px by 1px and Bresenham's algorithm myself as a workaround but I think that might cause performance issues?
Yeah, unfortunately this would cause massive performance issues... every visible element on the screen causes at least one draw call (for the client), and even though it's not very expensive to render a panel, this would still be way too much (even for a powerful computer) oO
In this case it would be much better to create an image (e.g. a buffered image) and manipulate it accordingly, then save it to the hard drive and load it as "ImageInformation" (which can be assigned to a GuiImage)

Unfortunately we cannot give support for pirated versions of the game. These versions differ from the original version of the game, and unfortunately these versions often contain malware or viruses (there are some cracked RW versions out there [although this applies to all games] which don't even run, apparently their only purpose is to spread malware)...
However, if you decide to purchase the game, and still run into any issues (or even into the similar issue), we will gladly help you to solve the problem. But apart from that, you can always refund any game on Steam (for any reason) if you played it for less than 2 hours and purchased it within the last 14 days (see Refund Policy).

Hmm... this looks like there was a new world generated on top of your existing world. This might happen if the game has either restricted access to your hard drive (blocked by an antivirus program, for example), or if there is another issue. There was a similar issue in the past when a seed was used consisting of special characters, but this bug was supposed to be fixed
Maybe you can post a log file here. To do that, go to your game directory (Steam version: Rightclick on RW in Steam -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files) and open the "config.properties" file with a text editor. Set "game_debug_console" to true, save the file, and run the game. Now load the world in question (so that you run into this issue again), then quit the game, go into the "Logs" subfolder in your game directory and upload the latest log file here (or alternatively send it via PM to me, or via email to support@jiw-games.net)

The red open for lan button is not present on my version of the game
There is a small "circle" button next to the green "Play with Friends" button which makes the red "Open for LAN" button visible
Since you're in the same network, it's recommendable to use the red "Open for LAN" button (just select a world, hit the red button, then your son can join to your IP through the "Multiplayer" menu / "Connect to IP").but when i hit the green button play with friends it enters the game but i do not see a list of friends
You have to use the Steam friends list to invite your son. You can either access your friends list from the Steam overlay by pressing Shift + Tab (although the Steam overlay doesn't work in some cases), or by Switching to the Desktop and using the regular Steam friends list there. There you can just click on the small triangle next to the name of your son and select "Invite to Game".
Alternatively your son can use the ingame friends list in the main menu. Just start a game (by pressing the green button), then your son should be able to press the small joystick icon in the ingame friends list. If that doesn't work, he can still use the regular Steam friends list and join your game by pressing the small triangle next to your name -> "Join Game"

Another way to join a game is by using the SteamID64 (it can be found in the main menu in the top right corner - rightclick on it to copy it to clipboard). Just start a game, then your son can go to the multiplayer menu -> select "Connect to IP" and enter steam:uid (replace "uid" by your actual SteamID)

This looks like a great tool, well done!

Thanks for letting us know! I'll put that on our list, maybe it will be fixed with the next update

How come mithril a metal is green. I thought it was silver like in Tolkien's novels?
If it was silver, there would be too much confusion with the actual silver ore^^ But since Mithril is a fictional metal anyway, the color doesn't really matter I guess (at least there are other games out there which use a different color for Mithril)

and put in uranium
That's actually planned

Sorry for my misleading previous post, but instead of updating the converter, we decided to write a new tool for that. The new converter tool does not have to be updated when the game updates and is also capable of converting MySQL worlds back to SQLite. The new converter will be ready sometime in September.

Es beinhaltet doch bestimmt wieder was "Greifbares".
Sorry for the late response!
This error indicates that the game ran out of memory. Maybe you can post the full log here or alternatively upload the "errorlog" file (which can be found in your game directory), it provides more information about how much memory was actually allocated etc.If you don't want to upload the file here, you can also send me a PM or send it via email to support@jiw-games.net

This is just a debug message. It indicates that a player was sending "mount" sync packets, but the server wasn't aware that the player is actually sitting on a mount. This can happen if there is either some desync, or if there is a high load on the server (e.g. if the server hasn't processed the "player-riding-mount-now"-packet [TCP], but already received the sync packet [UDP]).
If it only happens sporadically, you can ignore it. However, if it keeps spamming your log, there is apparently something wrong oO

Then i will go to the edge of what is loaded map wise and sit there looking into a white background and floor with nothing loading for a few min then the next section of area loads up
Can you still move while the game is loading these world parts (i.e. while you see the "white background"), or does the game freeze until everything is loaded? If you can still move, this might be a server (or local connection) related issue. Do you still run into these issue when playing singleplayer?
Maybe you can provide a report file, as mentioned by @spunky
This game cant be more graphic intense than say farcry5 or something like that
"Graphics" is not the only factor that has an impact on performance. Games with a procedurally generated (and fully modifiable) world can be much more demanding than games with a static, pre-made world (even if these games look much better)

Does Rising World have a proper SLI profile?
No, unfortunately there is no SLI profile. Usually NVIDIA only supports the "hottest" games, and apparently no alpha/early access games... but as you already suspected, even if you run RW in SLI mode, you won't really see a difference in terms of performance
