remember there are those of us out here that don't use iconomy and use other economy plugins. You can do as I do and sell the materials to make the pnb out of and just make the planks in pnb. I for 1 do not wish to use iconomy and prefer minotorious's economy system.

yahgiggle did make an updater/restart program as well as a restart on crash program for you people that host your own servers.

I can't find the link to the downloads but here are the files I got from him. They seem to still be working well from what I can see on my lan test server. Of course they are for windows servers. I can help with configs if needed. The restart program has the configs I use. You should just have to change the drive letters in the appropriate areas.

I would suggest area protection 3.0 in the mod section it is a lua plugin, place it in the script folder to make it work. There is a cupple java plugins you could use also. World guard, I personally have not tried this 1. and there is an area protection plugin that was not finished but is adequate for want you want, it has a few quirks but works well. [Plug-in] Area Protection . I do not suggest the auto area protections for your purpose.

you have to have an entrance to every floor on the first floor is the only hassel. I have done this on one of my sky scrapers on my server. It works well but you have to have a door for every floor and a return door from every floor. Landing can not be in the same place as take off is the main thing. You can use as many floors as you like but remember you will have to have a take off for every floor you want to go to. I just make a portal room will all the portals marker for the floor you are going to.

you would have to save the world files and replace them every time you wanted to start fresh. It would be best to save the plugins folder if you use any plugins too because they can hold separate data bases that would need to be reset. These are less important but should be backed up incase. also the script folder if you use the lua script area protection.

1 problem with your textures. when running the textures while in a multi player server it makes all other players invisable. I just ran accost that this morning.

you may have a bad plugin. 1 that interferes with another. check your plugins. If you installed any lately try disabling them 1 at a time till you find the problem starting with the last you installed. you can add a .1 behind the .jar on the .jar files to disable them and restart the server to reset them. I know it is a bother but the only way I know how to troubleshoot the problem. You will probably have to shut the server down to disable the plugins then restart it.

ok it is version 181 so I was probably correct here. if you want to use rcon you have to down grade to an older version. Thanks for the info.

what java version do you use Galochka? That may be the problem, I am updated to the newest version. you can find the version by going to c:\program files\java and the folder name inside that will be the version number. I am not shure but I bet you are running an older version of java then me. I hadn't thought about it until now but I think I figured what my problem was.

well it did have a full range of administrative tools. Here are both versions I have. I have lost the original zip files. Trevors version needs a shortcut made to point to your version of java. The target needs to be amended to look like this with your java version instead of 211 to get it to work.

The original version has all the features but most don't work now. Trevors version removed a few abilities and was working on a full on update but he hasn't played an a while and last I heard he removed the game from his comp.

The old version was able to kick ban make admin unban and other stuff other then chat.

All rcon versions seen to be really broken now. The chat doesn't show up in the tool. the only thing it seems to be good for now is to see who is on. Is there a plan to remake this handy tool?

If you want to use rcon you need to have version 181, or around there, of java installed. The new java breaks rcon almost completely.
