Currently you only get damage from fire, but since the fire in the smelter is basically out of reach, this isn't implemented for furnaces yet... but it's true that the exhaust gases would be extremely hot in reality, so it makes sense that the player gets damage if he stands right on top of a furnace. We will change that with the next update
I can already see the complaints of people getting burned while refilling the coal into the smelter 
Excellent! For a game that is pretty heavy on keyboard use it seems to make sense especially when crafted items will often need to be transferred immediately to the hotbar, it's just one less step.
if there is an empty space in the hotbar a crafted item will automatically be dropped in the hotbar. in crafting you double click the item you like (+the shape in case of building elements) and then its in your inventory. afaik there is no drag&drop. so even if you can open the inventory while in crafting menu you still can´t place a crafted item where you like and still have to go to the inventory to do that.

Die Treppe dient nur als Beispiel, habe den Teppich eh bereits fertig verlegt.
Sorry, vermutlich bin ich zu doof aber ich versteh das Problem nicht und was du mit "Ausrichtung im Anschluss" meinst. Man kann doch einen Block z.B. auf 0.01 Dicke stellen und dann mit dem Andocken einfach ans vorherige Bauteil anknüpfen. Das geht super easy.
Das kannst du aber nicht am runterladen erkennen. Ich finde sie ausnahmslos toll und sehr gut gebaut. Aber ich lade sie, noch, nicht runter weil ich im Moment noch keine Verwendung dafür habe.
Bin nicht sicher ob ichs verstanden habe. Sowas mach ich immer mit dem modularen andocken.
Bzw mach ich verkleidungen eher selten und baue gleich mit dem Stein den ich will. Oder färbe es mit dem Roller ein
It's true that the first release won't contain collision between water and construction elements... so for now water will only collide with terrain
However, this is definitely on our to-do-list
A dedicated water update is planned for the future which will improve the water visuals (it will add 3d waves etc), but it will also introduce collisions with construction elements. It will have some limitations though (for instance, water would not collide with very small or thin construction elements), but an underwater base will be definitely possible then (actually in creative mode it will already be possible to create an underwater base after the world update, but it requires the usage of static water, which will only be placeable in creative mode)
And will the regular water collide with static water?
Evtl könnte man jeder Blaupause tags zuordnen. Und dieser Blaupausen Container im inventar wäre dann ein extra Objekt das man herstellen müsste und dann auswählt welche Tags da rein kommen.
red51 könnte man Blaupausen einem bestimmten Thema oder so zuordnen? Wenn dann mehr als eine bp eines Themas erstellt wird, werden diese automatisch zu einem "set" zusammengefügt und braucht sowohl im inventar als auch in der tool Bar nur einen slot.
Beim Erstellen könnte man dann das rad über c nutzen um die gewünschte bp auszuwählen

Ich glaub nicht dass er sich ne Server farm ins Wohnzimmer stellt. Würde im Winter zwar gut heizen aber der Strom Verbrauch...

Ich sprach nicht von Pflanzen als Blaupausen, sondern von der Direktskalierung. Das war ein Hinweis darauf was kommen wird, nicht wie es im Moment gemacht werden kann. Sind zwei Sätze. Ich hätte einen Absatz setzen sollen.
Ich nutze dazu lieber den Size-Befehl als etwas mehrmals zu blaupausen.
Ich glaube red hatte dazu mal geschrieben, dass das dazu verleiten könnte zu viele Objekte auf einem Raum zu platzieren und damit die Performance in den Keller zu drücken.
