  • Blueprinting suggestion

    thanks a lot for the visual feedback since the last patch. I noticed that when i enable the snap-infunction for planks / beams or hold the elements in place (right ctrl) there is a note about this on the middle left screen. That is very helpful! I also would love to see such info-screen for rotation angle currently active, rotation angle of the element you are looking at and also for the size, positioning precision, etc.



    But my actual suggestion is, i don´t know if possible or not, about Blueprinting. Sometimes i want to blueprint only certain elements, not the whole square. I usually blueprint it, place it somewhere, kick off the unwanted parts and blueprint again. But depending on the degree of detail this can be very annoying and time consuming.


    is it possible to:


    1. reduce / enlarge the red grid of the blueprint marker?
    2. once an area is selected uncheck only certain blocks of the red grid to not blueprint these?

    You can prevent the placement of blueprints. Im not sure how but it is done on most servers for exactly the reason you mention. Some even prohibit the crafting of the blueprints completely.

    Das mit dem Block sollte schon gehen. Aber es kommt halt darauf an wo der Block gesetzt wurde. Auf deinem bebauten Grundstück, bzw. Chunk, sollten keine Banditen spawnen. Aber das heisst ja nicht das daneben, wo du nix gebaut hast, keine spawnen und zu dir rüberlaufen können.


    Du könntest aber einfach in einem gewissen Umkreis um deine Behausung herum Blöcke setzen. Oder wenns dich optisch stört ein paar Balken oder Bretter im Boden versenken. Das machst du rund um deine Behausung herum und dann solltest du Ruhe haben.

    thats really strange. are you sure? if the toolbelt is full it will spawn somewhere in your inventory. i also sometimes look desperately for the one i currently spawned and dont see it. then i take off one item from the toolbelt and put it somewhere else int he inventory, so i have a free spot. when i then spawn something it will be in the toolbelt.

    if you open the console command line you can enter i.e. roate local to switch the way planks, beams, etc. get rotated.


    i also strongly suggest you to use the plugin "planks and beams". it makes a builders life so much easier. it is no cheat neither as it just transfers all the annoying manual commands into a graphic overview. for survival you can even set a certain "cost" per object (i.e. stone, wood, iron, copper, etc.)


    i can just confirm from my side that the rotation works fine. just sometimes hitting the right arrow-key resets the angle. but thats an old bug

    Due Gründe sind erstmal unerheblich. Da der Betreiber verantwortlich ist bleibt ihm nix anderes als ein uoadfilter übrig. Und der wird im Zweifelsfall mehr blocken als nötig um sicherzugehen.


    Denk mal an Bilder in den blaupausen, Texte, evtl sogar objekte die man in rw nachgebaut hat.

    Du könntest auch die rundbalken mit sets 1 andocken und nach und nach veekleinern. Dann sieht es aus als ob sich der Balken zu einer Spitze verjüngt

    Ach komm, welcher kleine oder teilweise sogar mittlere Forum/Blog/whatever Betreiber kann denn all die xxxx Millionen REchteinhaber weltweit abklappern und für jeden Content eine Genehmigung einholen? Das ist doch unrealistisch.


    Ich persönlich glaube ja das die großen, wie Google, Facebook, etc. kein Problem haben werden. Für die ist es ein finanzieller Mehraufwand aber sie kriegen es hin. Google hat sogar schon eine halbwegs funktionierende Filtersoftware (die übrigens im Zweifelsfall eher mehr filtert/zensiert als notwendig, um auf der sicheren Seite zu sein).


    Aber Hansi Kraus, der ein Forum für Schrebergärten betreibt und mit ein bisschen Werbung die Serverkosten reinholt, hat das Nachsehen. Jeder Link, jedes Bild, etc. müsste er einzelen nach dem Rechteinhaber abklappern, sich mit dem auseinandersetzen, evtl sogar noch bezahlen, und dann entsprechend reagieren - wenn dieser z.B. die Rechte nicht freigibt.


    Das ist so ein hirnloser Unsinn der da verzapft wird... unglaublich.


    ich habe an 2 beteiligte Abgeordnete Emails geschrieben... keine einzige Antwort. Es ist traurig. Wirklich extrem traurig was da gerade passiert. Man versucht nun hinterrücks eine Zensur durchzudrücken. Es geht, meiner Meinung nach, nicht um die Rechte an irgendwelchem gedanklichen Eigentum, sondern nur darum die Informationsverbreitung im Internet einzudämmen.
