Crouch(left-ctrl) and Jump(space) provide vertical movement.
You actually go faster if you look up and hold both jump and forward(w).
This is the same as if you strafe and move forward at the same time.

I think I am with Geneo, I think that teleportation should be maintained only for server admins/creative by default. If someone wants to make a Lua script or Mod to add some gameplay version they can, but with vehicles and rail systems planned I am not sure the game will need any sort in-game teleportation.
Also if they are added:
if they are spawned, they should be in well defended dungeons/fortresses, so to effectively use them you will have to clear two of them.
These ones may not require energy, but may occasionally have monster step out of their mysterious function.if building them and using them should be extremely costly and be extremely inefficient, so only those with excessive amounts of resources and energy and finished with the tech tree(how ever that works) would build them. if it takes X energy to get there by vehicle it should take X Squared by teleport

Look for a crash log in the game directory, and post the contents.
Other common things to look:
if your machine has two video card, you may have to manually tell it to use your better video card.
If you only have an intel video card, make sure you have updated to the latest driver. There is a bug in the older driver that causes the game to crash. -
No problem, if you do find something that I missed or would be helpful to add. Let me know and I will get it updated.

Thanks Kat,
It is the crouch action that descends so I put the default key of left-ctrl in parentheses so if people change their controls they know where it moved to. -
I believe that the devs stated in another thread they will be three or four blocks wide. Sorry I cannot find the exact thread.
G-Translate:
Ich glaube, dass die Entwickler in einem anderen Thread erwähnt werden sie in drei oder vier Blöcke breit. Leider kann ich nicht finden Sie die genaue Gewinde. -

No wood picks please, the idea has always been completely silly. I preferred the idea of forging and panning for starting metals before you can actually start mining with a real pick. A shovel and a sieve should be the first tools you have to work to find bits of ore to scrape up enough together to make your self a pick. I am not saying it has to be grindy or tedious, just enough so that when you actually have a pick finding a vein and mining that is more lucrative.

I think they even have plans for more than one survival mode. They are going to have Hunger and thirst along with hostile animals and monsters.
As turbo said, it is still Early Alpha with a lot of features to implement yet.
-
the name is like block, ramp, stair1, stair2, cylinder, etc.
Planks do not have access to all the wood textures, and none of them are the woodplank blocks. There is a way to fix it, but you will have to search for the thread on the forums for the specifics.
It involves opening your save game in SQLite browser and deleting the item from your character's inventory. This is why I usually just spawn Logs or Stone and just craft the desired item.

I will field some of these from past discussions for you:
Render options (maximum or minimum rendering at a certain distance)
You can set view distance in chunks, and the detailed distance(also in chunks) in the options currently. Did you have something more specific you were looking for?Improved animations
Improved animations are planned, they just wanted to implement the improved and customizable player model before started re-working the animationsCustomizable blocks (half blocks; two different materials in one block)
They have stated that they are strongly considering half blocks, also some additional flexibility with ramps and stairs.
From what I gathered the block system is not very flexible, so these changes take longer to implement.
Objects tend to be the easiest to implement.More materials (valuable: gold, silver, copper).(useful: iron, wool, leather, coal)
Yes those are all planned and more, plus addition land materials like Sand, Gravel, Marble, etc.Coal powered lococmotive (If a railway system possible)
Long Term Feature list include a railway system, but very far down the list toAbandonned houses
Not sure about houses, but there has been talk about villages, and they are going to implement automatically generated dungeonsMore advanced animal AI (some ones able to attack, defend or run from you)
There is a second wave of animals that is in the works, including hostile animals and monsters. Bears will alway be hostile, and Moose/Elk will attack back.
Still alot more work to be done on them in general they have stated, and makes sense as this feature is only as old as the steam release.Aquatic animals
There was another thread about fishing, and aquatic creatures, but I do not think there were any specific other than it was on the list to implement. Got any requests? -

Really, I don't know if we really need more types of camouflage

These are looking good. Looking forward to trying your full texture pack when you have compiled it.

Nice video, it shows the possibilities for using this system. But some things would be perfect in combination with block building i think and more faster. Have you changed the texture for this planks?
No, that is one of the default textures available in game. All the EC objects have most of the wood textures available to them through the arrows in the saw mill table. This is also how you change the glass texture.
-
I have not noticed any degradation of performance by my creations yet, and my farm has three buildings that must contain at least a couple hundred EC items.
I would consider my computer setup only middle of the road in terms of power, and that is mainly as I had to replace my video card last year. -
Here is a video covering how to use the extended construction system.
Tutorial - Extended Construction System
I specifically made some stairs during it, due to the example above.

To help promote the use of my favorite feature, I have made a video on how to use the Extended Construction System.
Hope to see more use of it in the future. -
While holding a plank press f1 for all the controls.
Specifically resizing is done by holding shift and using the arrow keys.

Should be the same commands, but my MAC is too old to run the game to test it.
The only thing that might be different is your console key.You may have to use F12 to access it. You can try manually re-assigning the key in the config.properties file in the root of the game folder.
Another thing, sometime MAC are configured to use the Function Key for OS functions instead of being functions keys, so you might need to check your keyboard settings.
