I think my exact request was horizontal door for basement entrances, and a half version would be a trapdoor or hatch. I think this is what you are looking for.

.45's > AK47's > lasers > cannons > grenades > TNT > C4 > nukes > ? Where does it stop? No matter what is added to the game, some people will want something more powerful added to insure they'll always win. People think how cool it would be if they had a _____.... but they forget that everybody else gets a ____ too. Having a gun would great, right- till you get shot.

This is not my goal of having guns, PVP is still balanced even since both side could potential have access to the same tech. I am thinking progression and realism. As a human, a bear should have me licked in melee combat, so having a good range weapon is needed if one decides to claim territory over your home. A troll will probably take a bit more than that to take down. And given the 700+ years of firearms, i would like to see a few technology steps before you jump to futuristic laser weapons.

****On a side note, did you see that the US navy has successfully deployed its first laser weapon system prototype in the field called LaWS.

I requested previously, and the devs have stated they are on the list.
Mirrored doors, double doors, half doors, larger doors, trap doors, angled/slanted doors.
I requested the whole lot of them and got affirmatives that they are all in the works.

The devs have stated that Character Customization and model improvements the next major feature after Animals and Monsters, but have also stated (in a german thread if I remember correctly) that female model is not going to be in the initial release as it and is a much lower priority as it requires duplication of all the work being done on the male model so may be added later.

Sorry, I am going to have to disagree about guns. Since this game is spanning to modern times, guns and the explosives behind them aream integral part of why no one wears plate mail in wars these days.

In the end, if some orc comes waving a sword at me, I am going to pull an Indiana Jones and shoot it. Better technology wins, and I do not believe in a fair fight.

I dropped a rolling pin on a table, and it disappeared also after a couple minutes.
Did you place the pumpkin(i know jack'o's can be placed but not sure about pumpkins) or drop it (with q) on the table?
Items dropped despawn after a while correct?

    Blocks
I am glad to here Slabs and ramps on sides will be implemented, so I got a few more for you.
Cylinders & Half-Cylinders Horizontal Placement - too many uses to count
Flat 3/4 Ramp Corner - The inverse of the small 1/4 ramp corner // Like the 3/4 ramp corner but no center crease - My roads on 45 degree lines would appreciate being able to change heights.

    Tools
Pickaxe Right Click - Small terrain removal - Sometimes landscaping feels like trying to paint the trim on a house with a fire hose. Would it be possible to use right click on terrain to remove a single/small piece of dirt/stone?
Chalk or Chalk Line dispenser - A tool to place temporary lines so I can line up parts of my project with each other, then right click with tool to remove.

    Objects
Half Height doors - Ideally for saloon doors, two part doors, fence gates, and one you can place a poster on to hide your safe behind it. :D
horizontal and slanted doors - for basement/cellar doors, half height ones = trap door/hatches

    Construction Items
Here are a smattering of items to consider
Wooden Poles/Metal Pipes/tree trunks - cylinders of various materials - I wanted to build a log cabin...
Stone/Wooden Arches(half and full arches) - So many uses so needed full range of placement options of a construction item, and I would like to be able to pass under through my aqueducts when water is implemented. I know it will be difficult.
Free Hanging Wires - For when you implemented electricity, I can run power lines to all the buildings, tesla coils, and jacob's ladders i expect to have. Also to hang lights on, signs, and decorations.
Boulders/stones - for rock gardens and free form path markers, could even spawn some of these naturally in certain biomes
Shrubbery - So I can put in a couple to form a nice two layer effect and...
individual bricks/flagstones - for a path through my shrubberies.

There are quite at quite a number of objects to craft already implemented, including a wide variety of building materials.
Many of these object have different choices in terms of look and style.
This ranges from medieval to modern.

Vehicle and more are planned...check out the feature list.

Also check out some of the videos in the media section of the forum that show what is possible in game already.

I started playing little more than a month before steam release, and have found the devs very responsive.

They have implemented a handful of my suggestions, constantly responding to forum posts, and very helpful.
Look around on the forum and you will find that Red and Lucien have a lot of interactions.
They have even included user content in the Steam Trailer.

They have been already working on this for months leading up to the steam release, and they don't show any signs of slowing down.
