Simple horse stable - Woodbeam alignment not working.

Are you trying to set the plank with the grid or with the magnet function? You may try to change your postion.

As it looks in the picture, the wooden plank tries to connect with the upright woodlog and not with the horizontal plank on the left hand side.

Changing the position can help. Or you fix the woodplank with strg right and move the plank manually to the desired place.

I know the problems with the height of s stable. You don't think that the rider bumbs his head. I prefer the grid. I find this way of building more precise.

Totally agree on this but rotated objects sometimes do not "fit" the grid any more. Even on lowest settings. In that case the magnetic function is the way to go.

Learn working with the grid. It pays.

Heh. Hit "F1" on occasion and combine it with the magic of setr, setp and setl in the console

You have to write which precision you want. "setr 15" is standard, setp 10 and setl 10.

setr from 1 to 180, setp from 1 to 180, setl 1 to 180 as I know by heart. I'm on the handy not ingame atm.

For other dimensions use the size command.

In the forum or in Steam there are some guides with the commands. That helps a lot. But some things only works by trying and practicing.

Toggles on and off using the U key, as long as you haven't mapped it for anything else it should work fine.
