could you add some Textures that are more advanced? I am thinking of i.e. a glass-texture that assembles the look of a energy barrier

I was thinking of a static texture but animated would be even better. I'll see for an example once I'm on the pc

I couldn´t find (surprisingly) pictures via google that show what i meant. This one here is roughly coming close to it. Ignore the strange purple colour please. But the hexagon shape along with some half-visible colour would give the effect of such an energy barrier

Currently we have no plans for animated textures on construction elements unfortunately... maybe we'll implement an actual "force field" in the long run though (which will then be animated).

However, the next update will introduce various glass textures (which can be painted), and some of the glass textures may possibly look like a force field (if you use the right color on them)

That will be absolutely sufficient. I wasn´t imagining animated textures at first. You brought my attention to it
