    Hi,

Does the server.properties server_memory field actually work?

I've set it and it does not appear to change the value you see on the console as the server starts up?

    I see:

    "Rising World - 0.9.6 - Dedicated Server

    Windows Server 2012 R2 6.3 Java 1.8.0_291 (amd64) Memory: 6681 MB"

But that 6681 MB is neither the servers memory or the value set in the server_memory field?

  • The memory value in the server.properties file is only used by the start scripts, so it only works if you either use the linux start script or the windows batch file which are shipped with the server ;)
