NPC Control?

    Right now I have way too many NPCs on my server. They are spawning and ending up group up against mountains and water in huge herds. Is there a way to limit them short of deleting them all at once or one by one ?

    In the server properties file, there's a line to turn down the spawn rate.

    Quote

    # Spawn rate for animals. Lower values for less animals, higher values for more. Default: 1

    Settings_NpcSpawnrateAnimals=0.8

    I set mine to 0.8 and the spawn rate is much more reasonable now.
