From Bedridge to Ironside, Crows Landing to Roensburg. The Coast is home to many towns and villages. The Homes and workshops of the residents often house or repair the vessels they use daily. This series explores some Medieval Fantasy based architecture that would reflect how coastal sea going people would live. Some homes are simple and others have a multitude of purposes. One of the more well rounded is the Boat house Amon. A quaint cottage style boat house that allows the vessel to be sailed right into its paddock. Ascend the spiral stairs to a cozy kitchen, living room and bedroom. Above in the attic is a compact workshop. For the tradesman abroad or the local fisherman, this boat house has it all!

Some residents choose a simpler home. Many are elevated to deal with changing tides. Some choose timber stilted homes and others choose stone foundations like this Ironside Cottage!
-
Others prefer a cheaper method that gives great views. Like this Bridgewater Stilted house.
-
For the craftsman who does not need much to live, the boat house workshop is a simple and effective boat storage and living space.
-
For the fishing and trade communities, an abundance of boats requires storage, like this arch top boat storage with built in hoist! (boats not included)
-
And you can't keep the fleet moving without a proper boat workshop!

Part 2 coming soon!

Sooooooo love your builds.... all of them!!! These are brilliant, although I won't download them - instead I will use them to inspire my own unique builds.... hopefully!!!
Great work by you, as always

Wow... I love it... so cozy... how did he make that spiral staircase?...
that's what was going through my head while looking at your buildings. Really well-built, and I'm looking forward to part 2.
