Weather won't turn off

    Hi, I can't seem to turn off the weather, yes I tried via settings but no luck, changed it to sunny but no change. I also restarted game and my PC but still no change, so I'm confused as to how my settings don't appear to work. Is there a global setting that overrides the SP settings? or could it have to do with multiplayer config file? Any suggestions regarding the above problem appreciated.

    If you change the weather preset in the settings to "Sunny", this has no immediate effect on the current weather. It doesn't disable bad weather entirely, it just forces the game to prefer good weather over bad weather ^^

    To change the currently active weather, you can open the console (key ~ or `) and type weather default 1 - this switches to default weather (sunny weather with few clouds). If you want to get rid of bad weather entirely, you can select the "Off" weather preset in the settings (this prevents automatic weather changes, so only the currently active weather is used, which can be changed with the "weather" command) ;)

    Interesting enough I have two servers both are set to no weather (see settings below) However my one server still has weather while my other does not.

    The Settings_RegionalWeather setting only determines if weather should depend on the current region, e.g. if it's raining in temperate biomes, it's snowing in arctic regions etc. If this setting is set to false, the current weather is a global effect, i.e. if you set it to rain, it will rain everywhere (even in deserts or arctic regions).


    To turn off automatic weather changes, you can set Settings_WeatherPreset to 0 - this keeps the currently set weather effect active ;)
