Some questions

Maybe better if the GM could put allowed loot in the box then the PC sees a random selection? Different gameplay would have different loot requirements. Even within the medieval category you can see different tiers that you might want to control.

you can ban items in the permissions. banning items may still show them in the frozen chests but players can get them. you can try editing the loot tables in the definitions DB but im not sure if its synced to client (Dedicated Server) but should work for single player.

That will be adjusted with the next update once POI's are in the game. We wanted to provide better loot in the frozen chests as long as they were the only place to get loot. But with POI's, there will be different tiers of loot locations.

That's also on our to-do list There will be a setting to limit the game to a certain era/epoche (so for instance, if you set medieval era, modern loot and items won't be available anymore).
