problem with placing crafted objects

  • first, Merry Christmas... now for the reason i am writing this.. after the update for the biomes.. i went to place a wooden frame and the object flickered all around and then i couldn't see it... i tried other different crafted objects and got the same thing.. the blocks work find. they stay still and i can move them like usual.. i uninstalled the game 3 times already, deleted all my files for the game, lost all my blueprints.. but when i tried it this last time, i even crafted a another object, and it did the same, it flickered all around and i couldn't see it... what should i do? can you please help me? thank you

  • I should also mention this was after the last update.
originally i thought she had a corrupt file during download or install but she did reinstall it multiple times, same result.

Unfortunately she removes the entire game so there's no error logs from before or immediately after the update.

    Thanks in advance!

    Holy snapcakes
I have a similar problem except for the fact that the object doesn't disappear it just wobbles and when i stand still long enough it calms down and eventually stands still.

I'm talking about the moment after you've crafted an object e.g a wooden beam and you want to place it in the world. usually you get a semi-transparent preview of the object while you're choosing a location to place it down.

it's during this moment that the object wobbles out of control in your hand while you're moving your mouse.
in my situation i need to stop moving my mouse in order to get the object to hold still.

In some cases the object does not stop wobbling but increases to the point that it's no longer in view assuming it's wobbling way out of sight into the distance.

    ---------------------

This issue happens when trying to place the object on any surface ( ground or blocks)
with creative mode on or creative mode off
    Singleplayer and Multiplayer

it doesn't produce any error logs or error messages, also no crashing or drop in frame rate or anything like that.

That's pretty much how deep i can go into detail

  • its kind of funny, if u step back for a moment and realize that your holding the object in game, that means ur character has a really bad case of nerves, drank way to much coffee or has Parkinson's disease. I can imagine my character throwing the object in anger when it drifts off.

  • i seen the scheduled update... thank you so much for responding and trying to get this issue solved... i enjoy the game very much :))) Thanks again
