Welcome Message for Server

Hello everybody,

we want to have a message of the day or a welcome message for our players. We searched for scripts or commands for that and found the command "/setmotd" and "/setwelcome" but both didn´t work out. We got an empty Chat window when we joined the server.

Can anybody help us, how to get a server message?

you need to install that script for it to work then reset server after your done then type in chat box /setmotd your message goes here

Hello yahgiggle, thanks for the answer.

Which Script works?
We tried two scripts: Zcript admin tools and hotstuff. Both didnt work. We tried the command /setmotd in chat as well as in the console. The only thing that happend, was that the chat was empty when you joined the server, also after server restart.

strange admin tools should work maybe your mistaken /setwelcome with /setmotd /setmotd = a message will play once every hour /setwelcome = will set your welcome message
