When I open the game I cannot click on anything, the mouse does not register and if it does it is somewhere off the screen or something. Please let me know how to fix, I'm running NVidia GeForce gtx 970 so the game should run perfect.

Can you try alt-tab? Are you running full screen or windowed? are your nvidia drivers up to date? Does the music and cloud backround play?

Please try this: Go to your game directory (steamversion: rightclick on rw in steam -> properties -> local files -> browse local files), then rightclick on the "risingworldx64.exe", select "Properties", go to the "Compatibility" tab and check the "Disable Display Scaling On High DPI Settings" box. Confirm the changes, and try to start the game again. Does it work properly then?
