Hi does any one know if its possible to rename blueprints without having to create a new one ie through windows explorer? iv tired to rename it but it still show the old description but not the renamed one?

Thats right.Get it right in the first place.The fact is that a lot of people download blueprints from others where the name is for instance bbw for a bridge or something in German or Greek and we want to change the name instead of clicking every image of 286 blueprints to find what we want.Thats all.

By the way,I know it is possible to add a section on the blueprints page that we can actually type the number of the blueprint we need,for example 218, and get to that.if you want build a fence and need 70 blueprints for that,imagine scrolling down 70 times!
Not sure If Red can do something about this to make it a bit easier. -
Lucky him, only 70 blueprints in one section, I often have more than 300.

Not at all !
Imagine when lighting and construction system will be reworked,boats and trains are out and some more biomes,vegetation,animals,hostile mobs.
