So I updated the libs folder and the server.jar and started the server. I noticed that my server and a few others on the multiplayer server list are showing up in red. When I try to enter mine I get a message that the connection was refused. Also unable to connect with RCON. the server log shows a normal server start.
did 0.8.2.1 break the servers?

Sorry Red. Feel free to delete this thread if you wish. I'm glad it was temporary on my end

Its doing the same thing with 0.8.2.2 but I see what it is now. The world conversion is taking far longer than it used to be in the past. processors are pegged right now and its just chugging through every world part. I guess this is the new norm. Perhaps superflat without caves would be the best option for fast world conversions

It's just a one-off exception. The old world conversion was faulty, that's why this new update has to repeat it for every worldpart again (repairing the messed up dungeons) And the previous update just took so long since it's the first time the world had to be converted (without taking small world conversions into account [which are usually ready within a few seconds], since they're something different), so every explored/modified part had to be processed.
You won't see any world conversions in the next time (or maybe just some small conversions which are ready within a few seconds)
