What does the blueprints save? Does it save stairs, hand made banisters, curtains, window panes, and grass blocks attached to the building?

I made this blueprint and can't figure out how to use it. This is what I see when I click use blueprint in the journal. The items to craft it are in my inventory. I've tried with them in the quick slots and regular inventory slots.

Hey,
at first sorry for mistakes - My english is still in AlphaNow the first answer - Every block, plank, beam, woodlog, door, etc. can be blueprintet...only the nature ground, bushes, flowers trees or your farming stuff (tomatoes, potatoes, etc.) could not to be blueprintet.
Now the answer for your screenshot: Wrong item in your hand. You need a blueprint to rebuild your blueprint...and you need this item in your hand, when you want to click on "use blueprint".
Hope this will be hopefull for you...perhaps someone could explain this better than me -
as @Skarafass wrote the blueprint saves everything that is in the selected area (coloured red) except for vegetation and terrain.
To use the blueprints you need to hold the blueprint item in your hand then press J to open the journal, navigate to the blueprint you want and click "use blueprint"

Hello, I use this thread for my question, it's quite related.
I discover some corrupted chunks in my world, so I'm thinking about restarting a new world. But… terran is an essential part of my builds (found a very nice mountain area and all builds plays with) and I don't finish my project (which give me much ideas to build). Blueprints save only blocks and objects, so I wonder if I can « save » chunks (so with terrain) and import it in a new world ? I don't think I can find the same terran generation in an other world…

what do you mean by corrupted chunks?
and to answer your initial question no you cannot in any way blueprint terrain. Though you can create terrain to custom fit your needs by using creative mode tool F5 ->1,2

oh no these are not corrupt XD you have two options:
1) just hit the side of the void with a pickaxe and the void will go away (also using F5 ->1 or 2 would work) also in the case of stone the sledgehammer would also work while in the case of dirt the rake or hoe would instead)
2) relog that will also fix them -
Oh thanks ! Delog do nothing but when mining, the textures go back I will stay in that world so ! thanks again.

For chunkholes you can use F10. F10 closes the holes, mostly.

Did not know about F10! Thanks.
