maybe this will be resolved with the new update. but in this screenshot you can see only the name and the pickaxe. if i move the mouse down a degree then the player appears.

Yep, been having this ever since the last update. The player hotbox is also only at the feet... I haven't reported it because of the upcoming re-write. I assume it will be fixed.
