Empty tanning rack 'busy'

Hi, i have a visibly empty tanning rack, however, if i move the cursor over it it changes to a hand. I can't take anything from the rack, and i also can't put a new fur on it.

the 'Tanning'-entries continue until i move the cursor away from the rack.

Have you tried picking the tanning rack up and dropping it back down again? Pick up items by looking at them and holding down the action key.

Does sound like its got into a pickle.

When did you originally place the tanning rack? If it was placed before the players update (december), there might be a broken pelt on it. Picking up the tanning rack (not the invisible pelt) and placing it again usually does the trick, as mentioned by @yahwho. You said that doesn't work, what does not work exactly? Can't you pick it up? Or is it still broken after placing it again?

I can't pick it up (using left mouse button i assume?).
And yes, the rack was put there before the december update
