About fed up with windows as a playing platform and I was wonder if there was any flavor of Linux that works best with Rising World? I read through and seen Mint and Ubuntu mention so any other thoughts?

lot of the rental server use vm. On the internet speed that would depend of course on what else was usingthe internet. I have heard of other using linix boxes for servers because they are more secure.. Myself i find it worth the 20 dollars a month to rent a server.

On February 28th was the last time I was able to keep a screen shot. I have them in there up until that time but no more. The key makes it little camera sound when I press it but when I look in the folder nothing there. Any thoughts?

I was looking through my world parts, is it usual to have file with different dates? I have files dated from 12/30/2016 to 3/5/2017, just wondering. I know they could just be left over files from the updates but with the weirdness my server has been having thought I would check.

Not sure if this has been since the update or when. I have been finding different buildings on my server that looks a lot like decay does in Rust. I have TNT turned off, so it is not that and besides it is to clean. I attached two screenshots for people to look at. Please advise.

Have you tried Handbrake? (https://handbrake.fr/downloads.php) I love it because it can open any video file and you can work with it.

I notice people will start a Server then quit it for whatever reason.DAY ONE has been existence for All of 2016 and a few months in 2015. The IP may change because of one thing or the other BUT DAY ONE stays and will continue to stay. Mainly because I run the server for my enjoyment not to make money etc. So give me a try and tell me what you think.

I had thought Yahgiggle put out a mail system. I myself would think a "tweeting" system would be good enough for this. In Rust we had one that would let you Send mail to other players. I t was great for an admin because he could send a longer message then chat to another person even though they were not on the server.

PS I just happen to notice infinite is spelled wrong in admin permissions.

Umm did you look in the logs and see if there was an error? I was having troubles also and it told me a had an bad entry. I use notepad ++ and set the language to yaml. That seem to help with spacing and all. I have an error now in my log that says WARNING: Permission creative.npctool not found! not sure what that is about, any ideas??

I was wondering if we could get an updated rcon? I am looking for more language pack and maybe being able to run command line items like change weather etc. I would like more language pack because I use Google translate to "talk" in other languages and Chinese symbols do not copy and paste in.
